Trying to get back into the game

Hey everyone, I used to be a regular around here and posted on and off for a while making choice appearances to post screenshots and such.

Any way, a couple of months ago when all those hacked account allegations were flying around, mine happened to be one of them. Essentially I lost billions of meso and even more in equips..fun.

A couple of my friends wanted to start the game and asked me to come along with them. Any suggestions for an old timer on how to start back up and get some cash flow coming in? I've heard a ton of rumors, most of them stemming from the fact that FM marketing took a huge blow, but I have no idea what to believe because I have been away for so long.

Any advice? Please and thank you!

The FM market did take a major blow when the potential system was released dropping scroll prices massively, Chaos Scrolls went from 100 million to 40. And then it took even more of a blow because of free easy to get 50% scrolls that add 5 weapon attack to 2 handed weapons. Claws, swords, polearms, spears, bows, and so on. Basically they work on every weapon except for daggers, kataras, wands and staffs.

As for how to make money, the best way I can think of is to take for hunting for potential equips, they drop from every monster in the game, and hope you get something good.

Also, the drop rate on most areas, except for custom areas like NLC, Singapore, etc, was upped 10 times. And the scroll drop rate is now 2 times what it was before.
