As most are more familiar with free-to-play titles on social networks, Nexon America offers full-fledged experiences rather than titles that are essentially mini-games. With the more recognizable MMORPG to an action packed FPS, Nexon America library has something for everyone.

Oh, this is just golden. Because not being able to get a vital skill on your Evan without buying it in the CashShop isn't making me feel squeezed to buy? Ridiculous.
Edit: Also, Kim seems to be beating around the bush in a lot of those question on the second article. Everyone knows the real reason why Nexon acquired NDoors: They didn't want competition from WonderKing.

The company does not disclose actual revenue and profit numbers.

Why mention something that doesn't exist.

What? WonderKing isn't even that popular, and I heard it closed down in Japan. There isn't any competition, and if they're ''afraid'' of one Maple clone they might as well go after all of them. :f6:

It still has potential though. It just recently came out of beta, and I'm sure Maplestory didn't have a huge fanbase when it first came out [of beta].
Maybe I was just speculating, but it can't be denied that Nexon is trying to control the market.
And also, this is one of the only Maple clones I know of that so closely matches the real Maplestory. Heck, most of the classes are the same, the art style is really similar, it's 2D sidescrolling, etc.

That actually kind of makes me wish Nexon owned LaTale. OGPlanet is an even worse company than Nexon America. They even lost Cabal due to their failure. They're just bad at hosting games in general, and get all their money off Rumble Fighter.

OGPlanet's games looke bleh to me... LaTale looks like a weird mutation of Maple, Rumble Fighter and Lost Saga look the same, and Hockey Dash is even fuglier than LaTale. O_o

Of course Nexon makes more money every month...
That's how gambling addiction works... every new month you spend more then the last...
And now with the Miracle Cubes death trap... addicts will easily spend 1000+ bucks on becoming the best Mapler that ever lived on earth again... :')
Running illegal casino's is such good money... I should start one too...

I'm just disappointed in how you need to bring up the same thing exact same thing with Nexon every time.
Some people have already been over this with you.
Why was this even posted by the way?
No one bothered to post the other 3 or 4 articles off of the Nexon site.

Some people have already been over this with you. It was Nexon who decided it was time to flaunt on how good they run their business again...
I just post my vision how it's possible that Nexon keeps making more and more money, while many other businesses fail, go bankrupt and have to fire all their employees...

Posted it because it had maple all over the place in the articles 0.o
There were no other "articles" on the site to post, not sure wtp you meant about "the other 3 or 4".
Edit: I forgot to be on topic as well Here is a part I found rather backwards if I may say so myself.
Quote:GotGame: How have goldminers or players searching for exploits affected the titles?
Kim: Unfortunately, gold farmers and hackers plague every successful online game. If your game isn’t hacked or raided, it’s almost an insult. I just wish these guys would insult us more =) We work very hard to keep our players and the gaming experience safe from these dark influences, but we also rely heavily on our players to not take part in supporting these behaviors. If we didn’t have these problems, we could focus more dollars and energies to deliver more content.
