Influx of 50% 2H Weapon scrolls?

I've been browsing the FM lately and I've noticed more and more shops with 50% 2H scrolls. Not only that, but people are selling them for 110m and sometimes even lower, but no one is buying. This whole thing seems pretty fishy to me. So what is causing all of these scrolls to flood the market? Are people just making new chars? Dedicated Cassandra questers? Duping?

It's from the dual blade secret scroll thing. You can farm them through that.

So basically you create a new aran on a new account and you'll have a chance to receive a 50% weapon for attack scroll? What's so illegal about that anyway?

Whoa what? So you create an Aran and get a scroll? After you create the Aran, can you delete it, create another and get another scroll? O.o

Get it to lvl 10 and make the advance
Get a blank scroll
Turn it in to gaga
Store it or trade it
Delete char

Repeat as needed

Lol, I'd regret it myself if that happens. Just recently passed a ton of 70% potential scrolls that I was saving up on my whole entire gear, so that's about 9 for 9 that passed.. (barely). :I

Unless they plan on rolling back 3+ Days, I don't see it happening. It's been going on for like 3 days now, just got mainstream last night.

I don't see it happening either. I don't see why this counts as an exploit. Every event where you get a reward for making a new character/account has been taken advantage of by existing players. The only difference here is that the reward is so awesome. It makes a huge impact on the economy of scrolled 2-handed weapons, but it's not like it's making the Free Market unusable or preventing people from playing the game normally. Some people have made / will make a lot of money from this event, and others have lost / will lose a lot of money. That happens all the time. Just enjoy your shiny new weapons. These scrolls are going to be less than 10m in a day or two.

doubt this will get roll'd back. while its possibly game breaking if not dealt with soon, it isnt crashing the economy the way duped mesos would. weve had unfettered access to gm scrolls before, but the last time they were really hard to get a hold of.

Yeah, I've gotten all of mine on the same account.

Glad I found that out before I went making a bunch of new accounts.
