True that. There might still be hope.

Still, I wonder what the heck have they been doing in the past.. TWO YEARS???

They better release something awesome to make up for so much time of no Masteria updates..

At least they TOLD us that tespia would be coming. Albeit after a long time. But they haven't given us acreal masteria hint in a long time.
I'm giving masteria one more chance; if it doesn't show in tespia, I've given up all hope in masteria.

Exactly. Also, again, I still think that Crimsonwood Keep was released unfinished, so I doubt they've been working on other Masteria stuff in the past 2 years. Even if they were, it wouldn't take them so long, unless it was something REALLY big. Even bigger than Edelstein and Resistance.

An unreleased monster Sad

Maplestory ads have allways been about upcoming contnent, so now we can be potentially sure that the next update has something to do with World tour

(CWK=Narician? NLC=Krakia? The armory=Neo tokio!?)

edit: I just noticed that in the left-down square there is a new monster.

If it is NLC, which is still a big if, I'm thinking Krakia would be coming next...

The last time they had Tespia open, it was unplayable for 5 out of 7 the days allowed for 'testing'. Then the official patch had a crap load of glitches too.

Not sure if want.

Yeah that was my first time getting into Tespia and it was absolutely unplayable, I got zero testing done. Tongue

Part of me wants to believe that they brought it back for big content, but it seems more logical to me that they did it just to prevent bugs like the meso glitch that caused the huge rollback last time.

It'd be epic if they finally decided to do Cody's Theme park for this Tespia, but more realistcally, I'm expecting Amoria expansion or limited Masteria expansion. Mostly depending on how far away Big Bang is for our version. If it's going to happen soon, i.e. two or three months from now, I'd say Amoria is a good bet since it's original content that could have some extra stuff added to it for one or two patches. If it's more along the lines of five to six months away, then Masteria has better odds so they can stretch out the content until then. Alternatively, they may decide to go in a third direction and bring yet more original content of some nature on. It's pretty much impossible to know for sure, but it's better not to count anything out. We don't know how far they went with Masteria before CWK, and we don't know how far they've gotten since then. It's quite possible that they have a bunch of finished areas, but are waiting for some reason, and equally possible that it's a dead end kind of like Cody's Themepark quest has turned out to be . . . so far. I've always thought they planned to release a bunch of places in 1 big update. I kinda wouldn't care if it took 2 days to patch. But I expect some world tour as well, considering we completed all the KMS content(for the mostpart) cept for big bang, and trust me they wont release it till december-january. So the question is what are those months, masteria and others best choice.

I'll laugh when the only content they'll test will be:

- Hob King PQ

- Ghost Ship in the Sea Myst

Well, realistically, that probably is what they're going to be testing. But the good thing is that Tespia is here, which opens alot of options up. It's also nice to see what we're going to get ahead of time.

Thinking about what we still need in masteria, It owuld proabbly be this

Cody theme park
Krakia
Vineland
Dragon ninja clan (Note that this appears in JMS dual blade storyline)
The real parts of the bigger ben
Versal

It's too much, and I doubt they would add all of these ever, So probably they are making new masteria instead.

Another contention against new Masteria content (as much as I'm dying to see more): I doubt they'd release a huge amount of GMS-exclusive content NOW, with the Big Bang patch looming on the horizon. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun to create a whole bunch of stuff, release it, and then have to reformat it to work with the new systems.

That being said, here's another contention FOR Masteria: WITH the Big Bang patch looming, it could spark the ingenious creativity of Nexon America to incorporate new Masteria content with the patch, and that would be affected by the storyline or something, yet in the end give them a chance to revitalize and revolutionize a GMS-specific Big Bang with new exclusive content.

Though knowing Nexon America's fabulous copypastaing skills (laughingman.jpg), I think the latter is more of a stretch than the former.

I personally don't mind it when NexonAM copy-pastes content from Nexon Korea. I feel like Nexon Korea for the most part knows what they are doing, and when NexonAM releases new content it just ends up being buggy and not so great. I remember when NLC first came out, and I was excited, but it ended up being disappointing. Same went for all of the other Masteria content:

The map layouts are odd and some very inconvenient, some of the monsters don't even fit the area (I.M. Robots or whatever they are called), very little quests and the few that there are often have low drop rates of items and some of the monsters are harder to find (It was either the blue or purple elephants. Don't know what they are called), some areas are very hard to navigate (Mansion and Crimsonwood Forest. Some of you may say that it is easy to navigate once you've gotten used to it, but it should be easy to navigate in the *first* place, not a chore).

The only positive things I can really say about Masteria content is that EXP is good and the rewards for the quests are decent.

I just feel like Nexon Korea thinks out their areas better and fine-tunes them more. Their content is generally just more aesthetically-pleasing. I'd take the art (and the quests) of Ariant, Time Temple or Leafre over Masteria any day. And honestly, they just have more experience making content, no one can argue that.

They made the thing of course it's gonna be "amazing"also it's meant to be a chore, it's suppose to be in depth. Also if you pay attention to the story line, the robots make PERFECT sense.

Anyway who remembers this poem for whats coming in 2010:http://maplestory.nexon.net/News/News.as...ntNo=005vt
I'm going to quote the parts that interest me and make me thing the most.
NEXON Wrote:"Now Balrog!Now Dunas.Now, Scarlion and VEXEL!Auf Haven!NIBERGEN! On Zakum and Horntail!"
From Lith Harbor to Nautilus! From Perion to VERSAL
Vexel-Who's Vexel? Not released yet. Or it could be Krexel from Ulu City, or maybe not..
Nibergen-In Neo City hes called NIBELUNG, could this be NEXON's way of adding in Neo Tokyo too?
Versal-Obviously Masteria, if they didn't mean anything by it why say it? They could have just said NLC.
