I'm not quite sure which section to put this in soo... i'll post it in MapleStory Discussion...
about an hour ago my account got a 1 month ban from CHANGING CHANNELS at Rotting Skeletons in NLC, I'm wondering has anyone else here got banned in the same way?

Yep. It hit me. I was in the Haunted Mansion too. Shortly after I died in the chimney too.

Nexon's autoban system seems to be incredibly faulty...

Luckily I was strangely able to log in immediately after and am still not banned O_o

You were lucky Cyanne, a friend got banned at the same boss for SCAMMING, for 48 hours.
Log your tickets with screens, don't even bother going to Nexon forums. You'll just find Hime saying "we banned the evil scammers! how does it feel? hah, don't complain now, evil scammers!".

Happened to me on my NW. I got banned for no reason. I filed a ticket immediately after. The next day I was unbanned. Afterward, I believed in unicorns and Santa Claus.

One way to trigger this message is by lagging too much, and then catching up with the game. Nexon sees it as you doing too many actions at once (Think if you lagged walking from 1 end of leafre to the other. Then nexon sees you doing that walk in < 0.1 second).
All it does is force DC you, and not ban you.
