[News] Tespia is coming!

I actually got in, the account that got in was not over 2 years old but I have been playing since v.17 so I've been around a while. And yeah I'm also more of a lurker on here though I will try my best to update you guys on whatever happens on Tespia.

Interested to see what on earth they're planning to test. About half of the Asiasoft Forum people who frequent the Other MapleStory Services board will be interested as well.

There's plenty of speculation over at ASF. Some people are saying that Nexon might be planning to test the MSBB patch. Others say that World Tour monsters may be altered for the MSBB patch, and Nexon wants user feedback on the changes...or it could be both.

I got an error when I first tried to log in to my account, then it ran fine. Something about some DLL being messed up.

You have to delete the NGMDLL folder and redownload the nexon game manager. I had that same problem as well.

Okay so as it says in the tespia site character copies will stop being accepted. I'm guessing that's about when they're going to open the servers. At least I hope so because that's pretty soon.

Strangely, I don't have that folder in my Maple Story folder.. nor can I find on the website where to download the game manager.

I think the criteria (if there was one) was really general/easy and they picked at complete random in it.

Maybe you should log a ticket and mention that you were the winner of the bug report event. It might work and it if doesn't, there's no harm done.

Well, I'm guessing that they might have used the same criteria they use for kMST.
There's only one really, have a character over level 10, and for you to apply, but I guess they gave everyone a chance to get in, and it's random from there.

I don't like all of this random choosing. A select few get to experience content ahead of time, along with several other perks, while the rest of us get to drool and curse. Why not at least make it a rotating roster that eventually includes everyone?

Considering this is round one how do you know that's not what's happening?

No idea if this is new or not, but they may ban for no reason? Meaning possibly letting more people in so they don't lose testers? It's just speculation though.

I honestly don't think Hob King PQ is such a huge patch that they would create a test server for it.

Why would they have changed their stance on letting absolutely no one preview unique content before it goes live so it can't be ruined as a surprise?
