It’s absolute madness as MapleStory goes nuts – peanuts that is!

From July 28 through August 17, 2010, monsters all over Maple World will begin dropping Peanuts. Simply crack them open using a Peanut Machine and you’ll be rewarded with not one, but two items!

Apparently some of the items you can expect from the new Peanut Machine are also totally new and incredibly awesome. Here’s some of the things to be on the lookout for:

The all-new shoulder decoration items, Tiger Toenails!



Advanced Equip Enhancement and Advanced Potential Scrolls!



Boxes of treasure that not only contain a precious gem but also a commemorative coin that can be sold for mountains of mesos in any merchant stores!



Blindingly beautiful blizzard equipment!



10-day riding skills featuring both new and classic rides!



Plus plenty of deadly, high level weapons!



And you’ll never get two of the same item at one crack because after all, why be crazy if you’re just going to be boring?

Here’s how to join the lunacy:

1. Kill monsters.
2. Pick up a Peanut.
3. Go to the Cash Shop and purchase the Peanut Machine. You cannot purchase with NX Credit if you are under level 30.
4. Leave the Cash Shop.
5. Activate the machine by double clicking on the item sitting in your Cash Item inventory.
6. Drag a Peanut into the machine and click “Proceed.”



Note: You must have one empty slot in “Equip,” two empty slots in “Use,” and one empty slot in “Set-up” inventory.

7. Go bananas with your new toys!

I wanna get the Blizzard set, gonna be nice since you can equip and then trade it after that, unlike the Android set,that set is already dead no one wants to make it anymore, lol.

Also, the Android set wins against this set imo. At least with the android set, you dont need all 5 pieces to see an attack bonus, at least from their image it seems you need all 5 for 10 att.

Another thing I love about Nexon is that with these Events they give you all these Untradeable Items or ones that require Platinum SoK to trade...

QQ a corporation trying to make money! omg who'd thought?

I guess 99.99% of the stuff you get is crap. right? What can you get in other versions?

Level requirement is 30, Tradeable and the Gloves start with 3 Weapon attack.

So, when you grow a pair and try potentialing your lvl 30 set, have fun barely getting any kind of bonus.

On top of all that, I can get the android set, skip the gloves ( but why would i when they can be potentiald also) and still get an attack bonus from the equips.

And finally, I can skip the helm and go with all the others in the android set, be loving my attack bonus, and still be able to move along on my merry way.


So what if the other set is tradeable? If you make the android set good to your standards, then theres no need to trade it. You can just go and drop an enhancement scroll or two on them also after scrolling, and if it break, you can try and make a better one.

I'd love for myself a Machlear.
