Characters unable to be deleted
#1
Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!: I created a character during the rollback period. Since it was only my intent to use it for a short time, i gave it a nonsense name and then deleted it. i was a bit surprised when it got rolled back into existence, but no big deal; i could just delete it again later when i needed the slot. right? Nope, This character cannot be deleted at all now. It's quite annoying because i would like to make a real character in that slot, but now it's permanently occupied by a poorly named mule.

I'd rather not take a screenshot of my login, but when i attempt to delete it, it simply says "Failed due to an unknown reason."

The same happened to my friend. He created a new character then deleted it at a very early level because he messed up the stats, then created a new character with the same name, all of this during the rollback period. After the rollback, he ended up with two characters of the same name and couldn't delete either of them. For some reason, when he was sent a wedding invite, it went to his first one instead of his second one, which he's now actively playing, but everything else works as he's logged on.

Consider the database:

UserIdCharacterName
1Bob
2Bob

Anytime you ask for Bob and only parse the first result you get, you're going to get #1 because the database is physically structured by the ID, which is a factor of creation date.

What's interesting is this means you can have two bobs on different accounts, which would then both be able to be logged in simultaneously due to these rollbacks. Imagine the damage that can cause.
