AP reset use
#1
So guys, been searching for a thread like this but haven't found anything so I decided to make it.

What have most people used their ap resets on? I was lurking around the forums and saw that alot of people were into HP washing. I myself have a paladin and buccaneer both with around 30 dex and am stumped on what to do.

The big bang patch may potentially screw everyone who is low dex over (unless I missed an article solving this situation) and was wondering why people aren't using the ap resets to pump up their secondary stat.

Nexon Korea so far hasn't given any AP reset packages, only SP resets so I wonder what is going to happen to all of us who have no and low dex when big bang comes and we can't hit anything.

Anyways discussion, is it better to use the ap resets for pumping up your secondary stats? or is it better to just hp wash =o

[COLOR="Magenta"]I lowered my AM's luk and placed into INT.

So I really can't use any of the options you provided in the poll.

PS - HP Washing makes me lol.

I've always pre-planned my builds, so at the moment, I have no use for them. Can't even wash my DB because of its monstrously low MP.

Dex will be completely useless for warriors in Big Bang because if you hit or miss on a monster is completely dependent on your level. I would definitely reset your dex to 4 on your Paladin.

This. Entirely.

Reset your DEX and get accuracy gear for the moment until Big Bang arrives. With the accuracy pouring from potential equips, that's not even going to be close to a problem.

So, even Warriors with little funding should reset all of their dex also? If then, I'm gonna have to buy 60 AP resets soon Rolleyes

Heh...I kept my dex at 20 and just HP washed on my hero.

On my DrK, I lowered my dex.

I lowered my DEX and added to STR. But there's no option on the poll for primary stat increase =(.

Lol oops sorry guys xD forgot about that option Tongue there's no way to alter the poll now is there?

Hmmm so for warriors just max accuracy, is that the same thing for the buccaneer too? Still need to get used to this potential thing >_>

I reset my NL's base dex down 10 points, and used about 14 other resets toward HP gains (hit minimum MP).

Resetting the base lower might be nice but it causes equipment issues. Like, if I reset it to the point where I can't equip my top/bottom in any possible situation that'll be bad. They already require me to put on a dex cape and get MW.

Lowered my Aran's dex to 60. Thinking about 50, not sure.

Does Nexon give us free AP Resets after Big Bang? They will screw over alot of people if they don't.

I lowered my Corsair's base STR from 59 to 56. Letting the rest of the AP resets rot.

1) no equipment is changed by big bang
2) no damage formulas use different stats because of big bang
3) wtp?

I don't understand where this idea that the big bang is screwing people's stat builds is coming from.

I reset one point out of INT into luck, washing the rest. I briefly considered decreasing my base dex from 123, but that's sadly my pride and joy, so I left it.

Lukless Mages perhaps? I dunno lol
They seem to be the class type that's affected the most in Big Bang.

As for the actual topic at hand. I used all 45 AP resets for HP washing on my Paladin, he's sitting at a hefty 17092 HP now.

I've lowered my DEX as far as possible so I can still equip my Stonetooth. That's a non-equip-buffed base of 65, I think. If I change back to my Quest Medal, I can reset 3 more points. Other than that, since I reset all my lol-LUK and lol-INT at the last AP Reset Sale, I really can't use these.... And I can't think of lowering my DEX more since I can't get any potential scrolls to try getting DEX percentage boosts. Rolleyes

I HP washed my hermit until he reached minimum MP. Which didn't take very long- I never planned to HP Wash, so I haven't been trying to increase my MP. I still have a couple of AP resets left. If I can get enough MP the next time I level, I'll HP wash my hermit a bit more. Then maybe I'll lower my dex. I've always thought that 90 was a bit high.

I used 35 resets on my Bucc. My HP went from 6800 with equips to nearly 7300 with equips. I couldnt be happier.

After I couldnt throw any more points from MP into HP, i reset 5 points from my DEX into STR and now have a base DEX of 25.

Going to HP my DrK even more. I can't resist getting bigger HP for him for free. xD

Though I'll use 10 out of the 45 resets I've received so far to reduce my DEX to 15. The rest will go into HP washing. Biggrin

dex is entirely useless post-big bang for warriors. You only have 1 stat. So those warriors that have 60+dex are missing out on damage they would normally have if they made it after the big bang.
