Strange permaban?

I didn't even type my password wrong once. Is this some type of glitch or has this always been around? I always remember it being a 10 minute ban.

Holy crap... I hope that's a gigantic glitch. I enter my PIC wrong all the time...

Permabanned for typing a wrong password? That's a bit extreme even if someone was attempting to hack your account. The original person still wouldn't be able to use it regardless.

Take this as a sign that someone might know your login id? If you didnt type your password wrong once someone must have done it.

Maybe I should start using Login IDs that are as difficult to figure out as passwords... like, 12 characters, with letters and numbers...

I typed in a bunch of fake passwords on my mule account and nothing happened. Didn't get banned, didn't get suspended from trying more passwords, nothing. I could still log in with putting in the right password after putting in multiple bogus ones. So I guess this is a glitch, whether someone knew his ID or not.

I don't know if it relates, but I was originally blocked for billing due to the trade blocking.

Many of the people banned for merchanting chaos scrolls during the duping have that ban message as well. My friend still has the password wrong ban message for her perm banned account for mechanting those. She is still fighting to get her account unblocked.

Nexon did something similar to this a long while back, where if you got your password wrong ONCE, you'd get blocked for half an hour or something. They removed that for obvious reasons.

This, though... I HOPE it's a glitch. Especially since lagspikes make me mistype my PIC VERY often.
