Hunting for Hidden Potential Equips

Eww. And I was planning on heading to Birks again to try to get a potentialed Dark Arund and Dark Wing Boots. I did get a regular Enhancement scroll from the first Birk I killed two days ago, though.

Feh, I hate how almost all of the Level 80+ Archer armor and weapons are from bosses and/or Level 90+ mobs that can kill the average 8x Archer in two hits...

Skeles for the earrings; they drop the rose earrings like no tomorrow when you are on 4x drop. I probably found about 10 per 30 minutes, let alone the other equips that were also found (some nice warrior top/bottoms).

Next chance I get, I'm hunting pirates. Amazing spawn, and captains drop 2 capes and 2 earrings, plus a ton of other equips.

Right now, I've been killing Homuns and Site's to get the level 60 Katara. I've had a lot of luck, I got 5 of them in an hour. I randomly got a Weapon enhance scroll while in Kerning square yesterday and a few hours ago I got a potential scroll from Chronos while getting cogs. I literally just sold it for 60m, which makes me happy.

When I was hunting for Kataras, I found a set of crystal earrings and potential'd them. They now have 6 luck clean. Totally selling for a pretty penny while this stuff is worth something.

All monsters except for Masteria, Malaysia/Singapore and any world tour areas drop them.

Bains in Armory drop the 70%.

But Bains also exist outside! Monsters that are exclusive to those areas don't drop.
This means, the Jr. Cerebes in Showa Town drop them too.

Nest golems drop a variety of weapons plus Strawberry earrings which are level 85.

I got one with 48 w.def and 3% int as a rare.

blood harps didn't even drop a single pair of earrings or cape after 30 mins of 4x drop. harps only dropped the green cape two or three times.

then went to blue kents. the drop rate for the cape there is way better than harps. found 4-5 capes there in 45 mins of 2x, though i didn't find any potential capes

After a quick look over Hidden Street, I've noticed that the much ignored "Klock" enemies in Ludi drop both the level 70 and level 75 earrings. No capes, though.

I haven't tried them out to see what the drop rate is like.

\Went to Captain mini dungeon, it haves a pretty decent spawn. Got a cape and a kandine on 15 minutes, I'm level 74 though so I'm sure higher level people will be finding equips here like crazy.

For lower level gears and hunting for potential/enhancement scrolls I suggest any ultimate user to go to master chronos. I had
found a revamped map from the last time I went there, it's in the shape of a triangle and is very easy to spam ulti there.

Yeah I went there the day after the patch to look for an overall for my warrior. It's pretty good for lv 6x and 7x equips (and scarabs drop like crazy, almost annoyingly so) but I never found that overall or a seraph cape. Maybe I'm just unlucky

it doesn't seem like the monsters in O4 were affected that much. I got 2 PoTs faster than I got 1 equip, and it wasn't even potential. Anyone else experience something like that?

You get less cause you kill less, they have more hp and take you more hits, if you compare it with something that you 1 hit kill, then yeah, it drops less.

They dropped a lot of gaia capes (one potential) and bowman gloves for me, no overall nor seraph capes though.
Saeties at Magatia drop Red Battle Roads (and Red Ades for bowman) more often. So if you want the Red overall, I say that's the place to go from what I experienced.

I got more drops at Muddy Bank 1 than the Ellin Forest boars. I thought it was odd.

Spent a while at Bains (keeping track in my sig), I've found about 10 Rose Earrings so far but none with potential as a Paladin split layer maps like Captains are not so great, and I 1hko Bains just as much.

Does anyone have any tips or preferred areas to look for Pirate overalls (70 or 80) and Thief tops/bottoms (also preferably level 70 or 80)? Maybe a monster drops them more often than another? I tried looking at numerous places and a couple just aren't yielding me the results I'm hoping for, most of the time I don't even get the drops I'm looking for, even on 2x or 4x.

But yeah, I'm good on common Earrings and what not, maybe I just gotta get lucky--but I figured I'd ask and hope that other people who were hunting the same found a spot that was mighty giving for specific equips.

Made an epic mage glove with first magnifying glass at dual pirates with the lamest effect of ignoring 19 dmg at a 20% chance.

Duals drop metal heart earrings.
Maybe APQ would be good for potential earrings? In kMS a friend got a potential gpq earring, so apq should make them have hidden potential.

Level 70 overall= Rash/Dark rash map 1 map to the left of leafre
Level 80 overall= Harps nest 2

I don't recall many thief tops/bottoms besides the level 50 set at c2/c1 in magatia.
