Problems After Server Check

So, looking for a few fresh HHs to kill, i come across an FP mage trying to kill on on CH 5 in bellocan in left path crossroads. When I asked if he wanted help, no text came, even when using a macro with text, nothing came.

Was this problem there before or is this new from the SC? And other problems? I also noticed a rather large amount of lag for a bit while in fm on ch 1, but that could have been from people logging in.

EDIT: Ch 11 also, and i just got an error when i used arrow bomb (could be another reason)

Not to mention that BF's exp was nerfed (according to SW) and I noticed that the baby typhons don't have their insane drop rate anymore either.

could you tell if their hp was nerfed or anything? This could just be a short term solution to the glitchers until they can have it as normal.

Don't monsters have their exp data stored clientside? Does the server have an override or something here?

The message up top disappeared, so I'm assuming Nexon doesn't consider it glitching anymore.

The foot is just as rare.
My friend touched it twice.

As for the HP, it still shows the same numbers when poisoning, so I'm going to assume the HP is the same. It also still does that jump skill that does 1 damage.

The only thing that seems to have changed is the exp, which is now 20K.
This will definitely cause those pendant prices to come down drastically, so I suggest you sell your pendants soon.

On Broa I couldn't talk in all chat on channel 7, neither could a few friends I was with.

I found three of them like that. They're just the result of nobody killing them. Pretty much the same as two pianus (Piani ? :f6 spawning at the same time.

BTW, does anyone know whether or not the Elemental weapons were fixed in this server check?

I don't think pendants prices will go down, now seeing that their is no more good exp big foots are running around all over the place killing people in windia. Also the toe is still hard to get so the pendant price will not be going down, only way pendants will get cheap if they reduce the touch damage and hp big foot has.

I checked my friends Elemental Wand 4 and it didnt have any extra text, I'll post an SS later. Another few things to note :

I was on 2x drop at Baby Typhons and after killing more than 50 eggs (during training) I got not a single drop. No speed potions, nothing. Just 10 exp for killing them.

Khaini ch 7 is also experiencing problems in the "Chat: To All", kind of reminds me of the number glitch a few patches back.

And of course the good fellas here at SP already commented on the nerfed BF exp. More reports to follow later.

I noticed that I can't log in in certain channels. (such as Scania-18)
When I try to log on, it just DCs me before I even get to see anything.
I'd have to log on another channel (such as Scania-12) and CC to Ch 18 to appear in Ch 18. It gets annoying.

Well, get your friend to test it.
Because even thought the text doesn't work, Nexon might have activated it in the server maintenance.
(You know how there are scrolls for cape for cold protection and scrolls for shoes for spikes? The effect doesn't show up even when they work.)

To sum up what I've checked so far

1. Elderwraiths still become invincible upon KB, unless paralyzed first.
2. Bigfoot still does 12K damage. It's magic attack still does 1K.
3. Bigfoot gives 20K exp upon death instead of 2.66 mil.
4. Leprechauns still do the puny damage instead of the Zakum like damage Fiel claimed it was supposed to do.
5. Typhons still drop the same amount of mesos. However, their eggs don't drop anything anymore.

Since I'm too lazy to check:

1. Do the pots bought from the Dead Man's Gorge stack now?
2. Do the NLC Town scrolls work in Vic now?
3. Do the Crimsom Guardians still drop Holy Shield 30?
4. Does MTS work in Yellonde Now?
5. Do Stormbreakers still have the same amount of MP? (Test with MP Eater.)
6. Does Bigfoot drop the Lolipop now? Usually monsters drop weapons that their holding (for example, blue kents drop fairfrozen), but Bigfoot doesn't seem to follow that pattern.

I'm going to go to bed now. I wonder what I'll see when I wake up. :f6:

The monster data is stored on the client, modifiers such as 2x are handled on the servers.

I think they applied something akin to a -100x modifier to the one monsters exp.

That might even explain the lag, with the no. of bigfoot spawn out there.

They changed this the last server check I believe, because on monday when I decided to play around there for a few hrs I noticed that not a single damn book dropped for hrs (the only thing I got in 4 hrs was a brandish 20 book) so yes no more friggin holy shield 30 books.

Although I'm still kind of looking for refund for my item ignore pendant because every week the uses for this crap keep getting nerfed (it still doesn't even block quest items/untradable items) and you are only able to register 10 items to be ignored (pretty sure its 10 items but I'm lazy to double check since I could already tell that there was a limit after registering too many items on the list).

edit: maybe when I have time I'll look for more changes but, until then I guess rather wait and read what people have to say instead.
