Can dual blades save points between jobs?

The answer is yes, after the lvl 55 job advance (think its the 3+ for db idr), they follow the same route as other explorers aka same lvl 70 advancement and same 120 one...kinda ironic considering db's storyline...

Ok, to clear some things up...

The problem is not that I'm short of SP or I have too many. The problem is that a job is lacking SP (That's why I advised not to save SP, but I think people will do it anyways)

I'll put here my skillbuild.

So, since I used 3 CS skill books, my total SP from 10-120 is 336+ 3sp from 4th job (Ones I can't use on 4th job because of that mistake).
I think I know what's the problem now. 1st job, is from lvl 10 to 20. That's 31 sp. I only have 26 sp on it. Why did I have only 26 SP? Because Nexon made a stupid mistake: they, on the 3 or 4 SP resets I had, let me start putting points into 2nd job after I used only 21 points from 1st job, instead of 31.

So now, I'm trying to lvl once, put 5 4th job SP into 1st job (I know, it sounds ridiculous), and then see if it can let me put points into 4th.

Well. Here is some info for you.

Just started my DB. I opted for the level 30 version.

I log in. See all these AP and SP points to distribute. And I proceed to use no points in first job (lol). My job build looks like this;

1st Job - Nothing
2nd Job - 19 Katara Mastery, 4 Katara Booster
2nd Job+ - 20 Self Haste, 20 Slash Storm.

Not sure if this is gonna bite me in the ass later on or not. Let's hope it doesnt...

Hell, one 2x exp card and grinding my face off with Win Storm and I'll have Fatal Blow maxed. Then I wont even need triple stab.

Though at some point I will get dark sight, just not sure when.

I'm wondering if Slash Storm -> Bloody Storm are essential skills for the DB or if they will be replaced later on with like, flying assaulter?
Overall, what skills I can overlook/don't need to buy books.

Actually...you Flying Assaulter>Bloody storm makes a nice combo..

Am I the only one who maxed Triple Stab? D:
I got to level 30 as well ( well, 32 now ), and went with;
19 Mastery
6 Booster
10 Double Stab
20 Triple Stab
1 Fatal Blow
1 Slash Storm
Rest to Self haste
And now maxing haste and Slash storm ( once I get NX for the book ).
I personally like the Slash storm -> Turn around -> Triple stab combo, since my Slash Storm is still too weak to 1hko things I train at :p

Ok guys, with the resistance patch, they fixed my problem. Now I can put points into 4th job. Also, to everyone: If you can manage to get to 3rd job without any point into double or triple stab, it'll be better for you, cause you'll never use it again. (Plus, remember that triple stab will get nerfed with BB update)

Anyway, just for the builds regarding Triple Stab vs SStorm (and BStorm later on):

- Mind that Katara's are -about- 50% of dagger attack (+other watt attack equips as well), so I just do 60% on their skill hits for easy compare -

- Triple Stab = 3 Monsters - (2x 200%) = 400% on Dagger & (1x 200%) = 120% on Katara = 3x 520% Damage
- SStorm = 6 Monsters - (1x 160%) = 160% on Dagger & (1x 160%) = 96% on Katara = 6x 256% Damage
- Bstorm = 8 Monsters - (1x 280%) = 280% on Dagger & (1x 280%) = 168% on Katara = 8x 448% Damage

I just got to 40 on my dual blade - I opted to start at 30 and I've been busy lately. =P

I maxed out triple stab - I don't need the extra points (my build will max flying assaulter at 73 8D) and it helps a lot. Slash storm is pretty meh; can't spam it and it's weaker than triple stab by around 40%.

Triple stab can't compare to Win Storm when you are training at places like Truckers or MP3 though.

Here's confirmation you can save 2nd to 2nd+ and can't save 2nd+ to 3rd. I can confirm the 3rd+ advancement later tonight.

wait, cyanne, how many points you had to spend at lvl 55 to get the 2nd+ to 3job? how many points you could have saved before you did the adv job :O

EDIT: nvm, if my math is correct, you have to use all SP you get from lvl 30-55, to get the 3job at lvl 55, sucks
