In my opinion, playing a ROM of any Zelda game only takes away from it. :S They're best on the actual consoles.

You can go to somewhere like EB Games and buy the entire Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition that has quite a bit of the games, including Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, for only about $5.

Yeah, it's on a Game Cube disc. As long as you have a Game Cube controller and a memory card, you can just pop it into your Wii and play it.

What the heck? I've never seen the collector's edition anywhere. If I did I would've bought it straight away.

Lol. I see it all of the time when I go in EB Games near my house. I would have picked it up, but I already have the games elsewhere. The only games of the series I'm missing are the Oracle of Ages/Seasons and now Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. =/

@Alloy : No, that was Ocarina of Time and Master Quest.

Sad

That's kind of lame for me I guess. By the way, have you played Link to the Past for GBA/SNES/Wii? My friend's beaten that one a bunch and I played it for a bit myself. It's really fun.

Off topic: I'm stuck at 199 posts and it's annoying.

Link to the Past is also one of the top rated Zelda games. In fact, if it weren't for what Ocarina of Time brought to the gaming industry, Link to the Past probably would be the most popular Zelda game of the franchise. lol

Haha, that's funny. I didn't hear about Link to the Past for a long time actually, I just sort of stumbled upon it asking my friend what he was playing.

Noob! GMS is still down for maintenance.

By the way, Larka, the first two Zelda games are hard as shit. Just a fair warning.

Also, fun fact about the Zelda series : The original Legend of Zelda title was the very first game with the ability to save progress.

You sure know a lot about Zelda. I had an NES and the first Zelda and used to explore in it. Never really found out where I was heading.

Well... The second game, if you were to die, you start all the way back to where you started at the beginning of the game, which means you have to travel throughout the game to where you were again and hope you don't die trying to get back to where you were. The game is almost impossible to complete if you're a casual gamer.
