Rick Roll'd back....

I just read there notice and there last statement 'We thank you for your patience while we were dealing with this issue' Dealing with the issue? That has to be the biggest fail of dealing with the issue, rolling back everyone? when not everyone knew what was happening? Bah.

Sooooo glad I didn't try to make a 4th ring mule, all my chars are fine because I havnt been on for the last week or so.

I suggest everyone to go log tickets, meso exploit isnt fixed.

Well, great. Two rollbacks, and nothing's fixed.

I went from level 65 to 72 a few days ago....5k nx doesn't cover 7 god dam levels, and 3rd job advancement...

Lol, yes it does. 2 2x cards and money for a dark crystal covers both of those things easily.

We are still undergoing maintenance while we resolve the issue. The 2x event will resume after the servers are live. We will provide you with another update as more information becomes available.

I think the only thing I lost was 25% on my ranger (I also got my old potions back and had to go to NLC to get new ones again) and whatever levels I gained on my cleric - it was going to be my 3rd ring mule but I had a feeling I wasn't going to make it (and I was right :v ).

I'm going to T.T if there is another roll back (actually leveled my ranger twice) but I probably won't be bothered as much. Just going to see what happens. They really need to revamp the WHOLE game and not just put bandages to 'fix' the current problem. :/

I could be jumping ahead myself here. Nexon hasn't said anything about rolling back. I don't mean to worry anyone.

He's not trying to cause a panic over rollbacks, right now there are still quite a few people (including me) that have exactly the same
levels and exp on the rankings as when we were kicked off from the game. The rankings are not reliable enough to say whether or
not a second rollback has occurred.

And did you guys wait before jumping to conclusions about their officially being a rollback? The rankings didn't have time to update correctly. There was no rollback, or a very small one at the most. Think before you speak.

And the 6 hours I spent? Yeh.. if someone got paid 5 bucks for 6 hours of work, it'd be laughable. Thats how I see it, I don't want a higher amount of compensation I want my effing levels back.

Not to be that guy, but you were aware of the risks knowing the events that have been happening not a day earlier. Not that I approve of the sledgehammer method of fixing things when a hammer could do just as well.

That's one of those things you just have to say "oh well" to. Wanna know how many hours i spent getting a character to 50 for a measly ring? Much more than 6 hours, and much more than 5k NX.

I didn't know that the meso exploit was happening, o_O I didn't find out til Maple was down all day yesterday. So after wasting 6 hours, then the next day seeing maple down, then being rolled back. It came out of the blue more than anything. >_>

I dont even know what language they use but for almost any language a simple if statement would work.

They use C of some sort but that's irrelevant. Checking whether an input number is negative is a one-liner in any modern general language.

Revamp may cause them to have even more bugs, as Nexon's seems extremely understaffed (or maybe it's just incompetence/indifference). The problem was not that they have to keep putting bandages on the game. They let it bled for a good few days, covered it, wiped up the blood, and didn't even bother to put a bandage on it before letting go of their hand. The exploit that caused this unscheduled SC is exactly the same as the last. One could argue that, the first time this glitch occurred, Nexon had no way of tracking it, so they put the hole back in to catch the hackers; but, if you ask me, the far likelier reason is that they just got really, REALLY careless.

and i wasted away more than 6 hours of traaining. more like 10-12 (i level slow. always have).

I hear they don't rollback the NX you spent? Is that true?... Sigh. 'Fixes the game in the long run' and yet they didn't fix the problem anyway. It's slightly amusing they roll back all those levels and items and still failed to fix the problem.
