Fiona Forging

Has anyone actually attempted to forge anything through Fiona? The items she requires to upgrade or forge are ridiculously hard to get. How the hell do you get 2 or 3 taos of wutever to forge something when the exchange rate on them is so low? Not to mention gathering all those rare typhon feathers and crimson woods......

The weapons she can forge look awesome, but why in the world do they have to be so impossible to get?

We've only seen like 4 tao so far, I doubt anyone's even in a position to start forging.

Ah well, i've already started collecting items though. :p I've got 19/75 typhon feathers 1/300 crimson woods.

Crimsonwoods aren't terribly difficult for me to get. I could farm them on 2x drop if I really wanted to, but I only did for mayb 30 mins and I have 20 so far. The taos are what's keeping me from being able to forge anything.

Yeah, nexon's really going overboard with low droprates. A lot of the NLC quests require things with really low droprates, and the badge droprate for the exchange quest is way too low. Crimson wood and badge exchanging wouldn't have been too bad if they dropped as frequently as normal drops.

Again, no one's done it yet. Can't know that, though I doubt it.

typhoon feathers ar esuper easy to get, i had 100 but i kinda threw them away (early morning inv clearout*not good*)

I'm really suspicious of that picture being of a private server, if you're talking about that one where the poster blocked everything.

i don't mind the etc stuff, but the drop rate of badges are ridiculus... I know people get them faster than some people, but NO ONE can forge anything without at least 1 tao. at the rate they're coming out of the exchange quest, i'd get more money selling a tao at a falsely ridiculous price than a weapon... (which COULD rival the price of the taos themselves if they were the right weapon.)

I say that Nexon just increases the baged droprate a little higher. This will solve many of the problems that we have with finding the exchange weapons and whatnot. They could also increase the spawn of the trees too, which would make easier farming...

And the sleepywood picture looks really editted IMO...

phantom seeds are way easy to get once you have the map from John. Just use the left portal at the mansion, use the shortcut gate, kill trees (HH also spawns) cc, far right portal, walk to gate, rinse and repeat. After i started doing that, i got 50 seeds within about 2 hours at most.

Im trying to get the items for the Crimson Arcanon, only thing in my way are the dam taos

Crimson Hearths : 20
Crimson Woods : 120
Typhon Feathers: 100+

note: i dont buy woods i get them myself by killing the trees.

i can get the hearths, the woods and the feathers, but the Taos... goddammit Nexon do something about the badge drop rate/exchange quest Tao probability and while your doing that PLEASE increase the stupid spawn rate of those dam crimson trees....i can do 3 cicles around all 19 chanells BEFORE they start spawning again, and yes i kill other monsters on the map to make them spawn.

but then, something someone said somewhere else (I know that sounds funny but I now hate that place too), that if those items become too wide spread it can severely hurt the blance of the game by giving too much power to the wrong classes who could potentially abuse that power by ruining other people's enjoyment of the game. I don't really know the stats of the raven weapons, just referring to someone that said something like that...

Im gonna be pissed if nexon acutaly makes joko only do one badge exchange per day like joko says. If they do without upping the exchange rate,ugh its gonna be hell to get ANYTHING good.

Nope, in fact you don't even have to do the phantom seed quest to even get the map. Although I'm pretty sure he take it from you temporarily for one of his quests, he doesn't give it to you.
