So I've heard that everybody is getting something like a 20 or 30% increase in their max HP with some of the upcoming updates, and I'm wondering if they will reset us all back to a universal base hp for our classes before this comes into effect. Is it going to be worth it for us to HP wash anymore? We have been taking advantage of this glitch for ages so is it safe for me to hp wash my dual blade? or would I be wasting my money?

Before adding skill points, my DB had the same HP before and after the patch. It's reasonable to assume HP washers won't be hurt when this hits gMS.
Now HP washing after the patch? That's a different story. I have no idea how well that works, if at all.

HP washing should become obsolete soon - the chaos items already add 10% HP, and there are more items that do so and are easier to get. Not to mention potential scrolling.
Long story short, Nexon is slowly rectifying a long standing glitch. Honestly, I've never heard of a game making bosses so hard that entire classes couldn't attempt them without spending money on health-augmenting items.

wash it out...you already have to use ap resets so you aren't dirty washed so might as well take the extra hp...i just wouldnt bother washing further now.

I don't think hp washing will become obselete. If anything, it's promoting it. Since +% hp options push the hp cap beyond 30k and I've been hearing that every job gets an increase in HP gain per ap point, it'll be easier and more manageable for everyone to get more hp at less cost. If it costs 100 resets for a warrior to get max hp after hb and 300 resets for max without, more people will be willing to shell out the extra 200 just to make the character more "complete", compared to the old formula say 150 and 400 resets. An average player will have enough hp for the everyday occasion, while the hardcore can "perfect" their characters at a less cost.

The 30,000 is a hard cap, you can't go beyond it by any means.

There's a video of a DrK running 37k or so HP. In theory, that means the new cap is 2.1b. You know someone's going to go for it.

+% hp stuff work additively and are applied after the cap check. For example, say you have 20000 hp after all your hp stuff, excluding +% hp. If you get casted with hyperbody, you should get to 32000, but the cap limits you to 30000. Then, if you have a chaos zakum hat, +10% of your original hp is added on, making it actually 32000.

Note, in kMS when you hover over HP/MP now, it says the max is 99,999.

The HP cap being raised is pretty obscure. It is perfectly understandable that he would not know about it.

There's a small test in the mess of kmsT extractions where a gunslinger did an HP wash test.
In GMS, on a sair the average blooded point is 19 HP
In kmsT, the person got 40~ hp from a single blooded point.
I haven't encountered any other testing on blooding/washing, but if we make assumptions and go on that alone, the best thing to do for hp washers is save your HP and blood it after big bang update. I don't know how pre-blooded points would work though.

It was nothing personal and I didn't feel the need to write a lengthy response. If he wants to cry about it, well, that's his problem.

You guys are going a bit off topic from my initial question. Also there is no need to argue over something so minuscule.

Isn't that the nature of discussion? And most posts i read did still relate to general need and effects of HP washing after big bang update.
Anyways, I personally am just waiting to see how this all plays out on GMS, I can potentially wash 80 times on my NL currently. I dont think anyone has an right answer as to whether to wash now or after patch or if it even matters.
