Yeah, but that tradeoff has been public knowledge for as long as the game has existed. (higher damage for lower HP and vice versa) I'll take an HP nerf for all these sexy upgrades. It's not like we won't be able to take a BF hit anymore. Hell, we won't ever have to touch a BF anyway because we have demo all the time and barrage is spammable.

Also, in comment to trading higher damage or lower HP, newly revamped Heroes, I/L AMs, Evans, and Shadowers say hello. Again, I CAN adjust to lower HP, but it'll just take a while. I was planning to have 18k HP by 200, and now that plan is shot down.

This is the video I was talking about, there looked like there was so much maintenence and skill involved in the class, not a super fast dpsing turbo puncher that machine guns everything to death, but probably won't surpass warriors and have less hp.

But the stats aren't the problem. From what I see alone in this video, the skills are okay, it's only their damage that may need a buff. The new brawlers just don't seem promising, compared to watching this video.
This was also before they increased the speed in the adventurer buff patch, meaning it would have kicked even more ass with the recent buffs.

Although I still have yet to see buccs in this game, besides the depressing fist spam video of manon, I never thought marauders would be fun period, so I would be willing to take a crappier marauder(or I should use the term ''different''). But I made a brawler to do all that stuff in the video(and have a better time at it with their buffs), but I guess that's just my personal opinion...

I guess we'll see how it handles when i get to 4th job then.

Like i've said before, anyone who enjoyed playing a buccaneer will love playing buccaneers even more after this patch.

We don't know that yet. From what I've seen so far, the class is terrible and disgusting now. None of us know how it works in 4th job, so there's no way to say whether or not we'll enjoy it at all.

Yea, that's my point. Current level 80 mobs have around 1k touch damage? Why are they doing so little?

Doing high damage on high HP monster plays out nicely evenly, and we get an actual benefit from HP draining skills. I'm a bit sad about Dks being forced into Fury though; sure it's faster, stronger and longer, but we spear users have been known to have the best thrusts in the game.

Like, seriously, why would you be swinging a spear, not to say, aesthetically, it looks more like tediously working the farm plough than trying to do high DPS.
