#1
Do you guys think (or know) Nexon will make certain (or all) dual blader skill books cash shop only like they did for evans?

Will they be there permanently, or only for a limited time?

I'd be surprised if you can make DB for free after a week.

Could you explain your comment? I don't quite understand.

How much do they cost? If anyone knows.

They'll be cheap, most likely.

How cheap is cheap? Cheap to me is $1 for all of them, even though paying for direct power goes against so many of their released statements. -_-''

cheap is like 4k nx each.... around the same price as the evan skills were.

I'd go for 2-2.5k each. The evan skill books were 2.4k each if i remember.

In kMS, Evan was 100% free. DBs had some skills with books in the CS, but they dropped from mobs.
gMS applied the DB skillbook system to Evan, minus the dropping from mobs. I expect Nexon to take this one step further and require NX to make a Dual Blader at all. They might have a period where it's free to get people into it.

Well, this is particularly dismaying news. I was looking forward to a new class. I hope that we can find the books via in-game drops, otherwise my 2 weeks maple hiatus is going to turn into a permanent one.

They will never do that or risk being sued.

Evan is free to play and make.

Does that mean that you can find all of the mastery books via in-game drops? Somehow I never noticed it before, but I just checked, and there are Evan mastery books for sale in the cash shop.

I'm just hoping I can get Mirror and Slash for ~6k nx.
@_@

But yeah, they will.
And KMS had higher prices than Evan books in our version.
And GMS usually gets higher prices.
Sorry to say, but I wouldn't be surprised if its a minimum of 3.5k per book.

You'll probably be able to find a few packages and get all of them for under 10k (if the Evan books are any indication).

Yeah, hopefully.
i also hope we get the same packages as KMS.
Free blade, dagger and scrolls make the skills worth it.

 Spoiler

There's 6 mastery books total, 1 brown (2nd Job), 1 green (2nd+), 2 red (3rd+), and 2 black (4th). I'm not familiar with which book is for which skill, but for comparison purposes, Karma Scissors are 2.7k NX in kMS (but Platinum Karma scissors are 5.4k NX), and you can buy a 10k kMS NX code for 11 USD from a website.

Of course, they could reduce or increase the number of mastery books, change the prices, but this should give you a fairly good idea of how much the packages cost.
