IIRC, it wasn't completely part of Dual Blades.
I never saw any when I played.
Though I'm sure it came out sometime after I stopped.

This is just for people that might have missed this news. With a recent event in February KMS added a new Equip slot. A shoulder Pad equip. Like a pendant etc it can't be seen on the body. Though I think if they tried it could have. Take the capes from CWK PQ for example. They have shoulder pads on them that can be seen.

For the event you have to take a picture of a tiger etc for Cassandra. In some videos (even the official Dual Blade trailer) you will have probably noticed them cluttering up the maps. You catch them similar to the pig mount. Then you wait for he picture to develop and hand it in. As a reward you can get a shoulder equip. Very nice stats:

Required Level: 20
STR: +2
DEX: +2
INT: +2
LUK: +2
Weapon Attack: +2
Magic Attack: +3
MDEF: +16
WDEF: +20

Too bad it expires huh? Well good job the invented hourglasses so that's no longer a problem.

Also, it seems that the "scavenger hunt" mini event they were running all used Dual Blade images.

same here. i stalled at 40 on my 2nd ring mule and that one will be for my db.

I got screwed out of playing by my brother and can only play when he's not home.
Barely at 25 on my first one.
Just gonna make that one mule for my db if the feathers are common, so I can stock up on those.
Shouldn't make that much of a difference compared to using a lilin ring anyways.

The perma one came from pigmy's which I believe is KMS's version of Gachapon Boxes.

Anyway, the perma one is a reward from Pigmy, the kMS version of Gach, and the temp is is a part of the Taking Pictures of Tigers event. Shoulder Pads were released around the same time as Dual Blade, but were actually part of the Year of the Tiger events rather than being part of Dual Blade.

That event is as follows. You have two options for the feathers in kMS, you could either trade 5 feathers to get a chance to play Dual Blade on the test server, if I recall, this event was from before they even released Dual Blade in kMST, or you could hold on to them until after the event in order to use them, like the boxes, for a chance at getting a blade. In kMS, the scrolls for blades came from the boxes themselves, and were fairly common.
