So I've been busy trying to get a maple ring with a bralwer and I must say I'm having a blast with this character. One problem though, I didn't bother to look up a decent guide so I'm running with the following 1st job skills

Maxed SSK
Maxed Dash
15 FF
15 Bullet time

I'm also running about 50 base dex or somewhere around there. My question is although it takes minimal effort to level a character to 50 now (about a week tops with major interruptions)

As far as 2nd job is concerned I'm doing a modified build of takebackers and I can see myself getting this guy at least to 3rd job if not 4th.

My main question is fairly simple...

will the high base dex and lvl 15 FF hinder my training in the long run? I've heard of people using FF way late into their 3rd job and the 30% hit in dmg might bother me. Or have many of you completely ditched FF by the time 3rd job comes around?

FF is your only spammable 1v1 attack, so i say go ahead and max that o_O

bullet time is okay (missing that 5 accuracy tho =/) since you have 50 dex and with brawlers' hax dex formula, you'll have higher avoid anyway.

I maxed bullet time over FF in both my ring mule and my actual Bucc. Even with it unmaxed, i saw no real dip in my exp in training.

Agreed, specially training in a party at jr newties. You could easily just take the top left most Jr Newties and spam that combo. Hell, as a bucc, i will back rotate corkscrewing into/past the newtie, barrage, backspin out, barrage.

With super transform, I found the combo of barrage to demo to be very smooth, except for coming out of demo.
