They're apparently giving these out as part of the logout event.

It should be noted that they changed this notice on the website. It's now this:

v.86 Update’s Known Issues

We are currently working to resolve two issues that are occurring since last night’s game update.

1. Both Maple Life Type A and Maple Life Type B are not working.
If you have purchased the item, please do not use it but do hold on to it until further notice.
2. “T-1227’s Mission: Collect Parts” mission expires when the player changes channels, enter MTS, or enter the Cash Shop. Please complete the quest before doing any of the three as once the quest expires it will not be playable again for a week.

what about the guild/buddy list glitch?

They didn't notice this glitch either, apparently :

Probably just doesn't give the bonus, much like what happened when they fixed the glitch that allowed people to wear multiple Lilin rings.
