People hearing the number 9 and thinking "olololol 69"?

8000 WAS the actual number in the original version, but the way Vegeta said 9000 in the American version of DBZ was simply memetastic that people will be disappointed at a more normal tone of voice.

I can swap this verion of 9000 with the original American dub and it'd be as good as ever.

I feel like Kame hame ha wave is too redundant and throws the flow off.

It should gradually get more dramatic. After ha it just sort of.....blechs it out.

Despite the fact that 8000 sounds better, 9000 just sounds so much better. And it's not just because that's what I heard when I was younger, or the fact that it's a meme.
