Bossing methods as Corsair
#21
As Lita Lawless said, he killed like 20 Shadowers, 80 Bishops, and a million Paladins. He's not supposed to be easy.

I mean, he's still better than the Big Boss. 440 acc requirement? Lol warriors... 25k damage? Lol other classes.

I had some luck pinning BF at the edge of platforms in Forgotten Path last year on my Hermit but it was tricky (gotta get him right as he's jumping onto the platform, and be the exact right distance away). Don't know if he's changed since then cause they've made at least a dozen changes to how his attacks work.

Assuming he can be pinned at all, you should be able to do it if you can kb him consistently. His kb is 55k though, and you would need one hell of an attack range to be able to do that with your minimum range. I don't even think it's possible. On top of that, his long range attacks might still be able to reach you, lol.

I believe Kayako posted sometime ago saying that since the Battleship raises you up just a teensy bit, it allows the Guard to hit you more easily. Couple that with the lack of puppet, and you've got one dead Corsair.

I think it raises you a bunch. For example, you can normally walk under PB's statues while they're alive and not get hit, but in your boat you just take touch damage (I've died that way before).
