[kMS] Lol, medals.

I'm surprised everyone is saying the requirements are insane, these are medals we're talking about. Something which even in real life sometimes requires extreme effort.

I would have laughed if the 800 quests one gave a +3 att medal, but sadly that is not the case. :[

Well since there is no level requirement, it wouldn't be that hard for a lower level to kill the monsters or do the pq's. I mean there is hPQ, kPQ, LudiPQ, OrbisPQ, LudiMaze PQ, PiratePQ, Horntail pq. That would cover the 5 right? And the lower levels wouldn't mind killing all the monsters. It helps with training.

HTPQ and MazePQ don't count, at least not yet since JMS doesn't have this system and KMS doesn't have the Maze.

Like I said, it's no problem if you're below 70, but if you aren't then you're in trouble. This ranking system hasn't been out for long, so anyone who was 70 since May or so is just completely screwed and that's not fair at all.

I've got 376 completed quests right now, 17 incomplete and 2 available (1 is a maple island quest). That's 394 quests total and some are NX related. So they will have to add another 400 quests before the quest medal can be released to us

Oh yeah, I forgot about quests I didn't unlock yet. That's still no more than like, 415 quests.

Like I said earlier, I have 420 quests complete, and I'm a crazy quest maniac. I've dropped the quest item to get it again to add the "lost" quest to my log before. Keep in mind they don't have Showa or Masteria (or our Amoria's quests) either, so that means they've got to have at least 450 more quests than us. I don't even see how that's possible though...

Floating market only has about 10 quests.
Shanghai has like 12 also.
Formosa, I don't know, but it can't be that many. Maybe 20? it has more than the other two.
Magatia certainly has a lot of quests, but at most I'd say there's 100. Add about 20 more for Maker skill.
Time temple has a shitload of quests, but they're horrific and basically, if you're high enough level to have done time temple quests, you probably missed out on OPQ, PPQ, MPQ external quests and they'd cancel each other out.
Every class has about 8-14 job quests, which are mostly 4th job related so I wouldn't have those yet.
Elin has no quests.

so where are all these coming from? That's only about 200 we're missing.

I don't see how the "stay logged on for 3 hours a day" one is impossible. A lot of people do that for a lot longer then 3 hours/27 days.

Also, if they put that in GMS they should probably change the "you've been logged on for 3 hours, please take a break from mapling" message...

It's pretty easy that one. However, think that someday, like for example, in the 26th day on that quest, you lost your internet, you gotta go with your friends/family to do X thing, and you can't log on in MapleStory, you've lost your count from there. One on the facts of that quest. Lol. That's why every quest is most likely impossible to do. It's about life in this quest, actually.

True, but the only thing that would actually hinder you from doing that is your internet failing for more then a day. If you're going out with your family it isn't that hard to leave your computer/MS on.

Most of the time you have to drop the things before you finish the quest. :p If you noticed that quest from Elpam where he gives you the letter back after you turn it in, that's supposed to be a "lost" quest but it wasn't programmed right.

EDIT: Misread. Ji (Level 77 Buccanner, Sleepywood KMS guild, she's from Korea and speak a little bit english) told us that you gotta be on for 27 Days, 3 Hours in 30 Days. This give us just 3 Days, 21 Hours for the computer to be turned off. Hope in that time you don't lose your internet, someone turn off the computer, etc. AFKing from this time would be the solution, however, here you go another Impossible challange.

27 days, 3 hours + 3 days, 21 hours = 31 days o.o

Its more like 2 days and 21 hours. Now, assuming there's 4 server checks with 4 hours a piece, that's 16 hours.

That means 2 days and 5 hours for MapleStory to be off. Dam.....


And BTW, AFKing doesn't always work. I have gotten the random DC now and then. :/

and yeah, everyone over about 140 in KMS is just screwed over completely. They can't get the PQ one, they can't get the monster one... really they're the only ones who stand a chance at the quest one.
