Both, kind of. It's a DOT internship. I ride around, basically make sure the contractors are doing the jobs properly (mostly road paving and resurfacing), and do some paperwork. Sometimes stuff breaks down and we're out there until 7. It's a pretty easy job, but it's also pretty pineappleing tiring standing out in the sun the whole day. Especially with those dump trucks carrying 300 degree asphalt being hauled in every couple of minutes..
