A sad day indeed. It's expected to occur, but it is hard to believe that a day like this is here. Feels like the site was just born yesterday, and now it's Fiel's goodbye, and maybe even this website.

Fiel, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, and I do hope the site receives a new owner. Had I knowledge of WZ formatting, I'd consider, but I'm not knowledgeable in the WZ file structure.

Southperry has been the first in my quick tabs for a long time. I hope I don't have to find a new website to fill that spot.

Man I never posted much but I have lurked here for a while...... this makes me sad........

Guys, this is about SP's future, not about whether hyperhopper is Nightclaw or whether he's back or not.

That is most certainly weird. The reasoning - prevention perhaps? And the method - letting it go? Certainly sophisticated. For there is nothing to talk about, when there is nothing at all.

I don't know what to say. I never considered this site going down. I don't know what I'm going to do. SP.net is one of the major reasons I still use the internet. What are we supposed to do Fiel? I don't even know of another forum to visit. I am disappoint, but I should have saw this coming. Good luck to all and to all a good night.

You know, since most of the frequent posters don't care about MS, this could be made into a social chat board. Or any subject orientated-board: programming, homework, music, movies, vidya, otaku, animu.

Or a combination of all of the above.

I was thinking this, too. I wouldn't want SP to go, but Nexon HQ could explode tomorrow for all I care. I only remember that this is a MapleStory extraction site when new MapleStory stuff comes out.

I do not want to be the owner of southperry but I am rather good at private servers and extracting wz files...
I have never extracted from just a patch and I Imagen its completely different if that is how you do extractions but I may have a system to extract patches from the whole client its self... o.o
I'll get back to you on it if it works...

You can't do it that way. You have to patch the files, then find out the differences. Look at my NXPatcher program in Maplestory Discussion.

before I wiped my hard drive I had a re-packer that was being developed on the akr forums. It was open sourced and someone had released a version a few moths back where when you opened two different versions of the same wz file it could search for the differences. o.o verry slow and unorganized but could possibly work...
