Usually when past events lead to the foreshadowing of the events to come and it does not happen, people tend to get upset.

Not stressed or nervous at all. Just continuously reminded how little Nexon cares about their customers, and annoyed when that happens.

Those 9 out of 10 of my posts about what Nexon should do are right.

i still remember before, when we didnt had exp curve, no 2x card, no good maps to train, no one used to complain about it. ;/

yeah thats right, i got to lvl 12x w/o 2x card, 2x family, no mini dungeon, only good to place was grims(himes got released when i was 13x)

i guess nexon spoiled too much everyone, now when nexon forget about something, they get angry easily.

Year 2007, which would be anniversary #2, they announced the exp on may 11th, the day of, with a banner at the top. No one even knew until they logged in that day. I remember it clearly because I logged into ludi sky terrace maps, saw it, and realized how pissed my gf would be since she wouldn't be able to take advantage of it. After she found out, she was furious and logged off.

Then they finally posted the announcements for the rest of the month. On the actual day, may 11th.

Again let me repeat that, they posted the EXP announcements on the day of, actual may 11th, without giving any forewarning about it at all except for a banner when they turned on x2 exp for 12 hours.

Your attitude has really been similar to another person on these forums that people got sick and tired of.

As far as your concern about my attitude; I'm sorry you feel that way but it's not going to change.

And about the rest of what you said, the event notices were posted well in advance according to the website (and my recollection). Maybe the 12 hour one wasn't advertised but the rest of the 2x stuff was and that's still more than they've done this year.

As you can see, those were all posted much in advance. The second year one even includes the rest of the patch notes so there's really no way it would've been released as late as you say.

I do agree though this Anniversary was thrown together vey quickly and seems like they didn't care much, there working on how much money they can make on DB this summer.

Why must we always get either Better or the same EACH year? You expect it to get better and better each year but yet people insult nexon left and right? As many people have said Nexon sucks, they fail, can't do anything right...yet people expect more and more every patch and people just come along and say "fail", "better last year"...Yeah, getting something BETTER is not gonna happen with Nexon as some of you should already know but you're just feeding the fire.

On Topic: Free EXP is Free EXP... if it's causing this much crying they shouldn't have given any 2x exp.

A lot of other things aren't needed to survive either.

This is pretty much just a cyclical discussion though. The point is that they provided much more 2x in the past, and considering all the screw ups this past year we're entitled to receive the same if not more of what we've had in the past anyway. 36 hours of 2x is NOT that much to ask considering it doesn't cost them a penny to set up.

Free EXP is Free EXP. Even if they gave us 36 hours of free EXP could you honestly say there wouldn't be another thing someone else would whine about: "Oh 36 hours of EXP will cause massive lag and KSING" or "That's to long and their only doing that do get every person to buy more 2x card pineappleing greedy nexon" or "It's not enough we should get more because of the screw ups" or any other complaint i remember from last year >.> . It doesn't matter what would happen not everyone would be satisfied regardless of what move they made, this is just people wanting more for no reason other then greed. Just take the free thing you got, use it, and be happy.

It makes sense that we'd get less 2x events this anniversary since we've already had soooo many other 2x events earlier in the year. Back in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversary, anniversary month was basically our only time of the year for 2x events.

@ above: What are you talking about? 4th anniversary had 36 hours of 2x while christmas (just a few months before) had s'hit tons of 2x. In fact, we got more 2x that christmas than THIS YEARS ANNIVERSARY.

So, Nexon gives everybody a 2x event and the first thing a lot of you guys say is how bad Nexon is? Considering how anybody can get a family 2x buff I can't believe you are still comparing to the past.

Okay, lets give you all the 2x exp events you ever wanted, but how about Nexon remove mini dungeons, 20% reduced exp, family system and etc. I mean Maple is so easy that leveling my bishop at 19X now is equally as fast as training on my bowmaster (ranger at the time) at 12X pre 4th job. Would have thanked them if they'd done 2x like every other year. It's all I EXPECTED (should've known better then to expect good things from Nexon. That's on me) from this patch. This doesn't even seem lazy or "thrown together". It feels like they thought that the poorly designed cake event and the worthless rings would make up for the lack of 2x events. But both of those events, while nice in addition, are just not good enough on their own. I would have been happy enough to tell people to stop complaining about this patch if they'd just done this right. But as of now, all we have is some poorly thought out events, an annoying PQ (hate PQ's anyway but that's me) and one day of 2x. Oh yeah, and a lot of lag. All of which could've been dust in the wind for even just a week of 2x.

They make so much money on 2x I don't even get why they would hesitate to drop the events. Almost everyone I've seen who hits 200 just goes and makes a new character. So it's not like leveling means they'll end up losing players.
