Backstory
At 3 AM on the morning of my graduation from training, with my roommate 1 week behind me, my class went out to celebrate by drinking. I had things to take care of and did not go, but my roommate went with them (having formerly been in my class before being held back a week). He came back, plastered, demanding that I not leave anything behind when I leave the next day (fearing it would ruin a room inspection). He then decides that he should throw away all of my belongings while I am still present to pre-empt this from happening. Then...the alcohol starts speaking for him. I casually gathered a blanket and pillow (and my laptop, fearing for its safety) and went to a lounge to go sleep after the recording ends (there was a good 30 minutes of similar conversaiton before the recording starts), but opted out of that idea when he began following me and harassing me in the hallways. Instead, I reported him to the official on duty, and he was promptly removed from training. This incident took place after several months of similar incidents, with me lying, covering up, and otherwise protecting him from taking responsibility for his alcoholism. He was/is a violent, angry drunk, and I hope his family has discovered this and forced him to get treatment. By all means, though, have a good laugh at this conversation, which took place in Feb 2009. I get a good laugh every time I listen to it.
Oh, and that crinkling sound throughout the entire recording? His giant bag of Doritos, which he proceeded to shove in my face and crinkle loudly in attempt to irritate me.
Uh, when people get THAT plastered, in my town, people beat them up if they start acting-up. Problem solved. I am not joking around. I remembered once, this one guy was pretty effed up, so one of my friends just pushed him down onto the couch and punched him in the face. He just fell unconscious, lol. Another time was when I was really drunk too, and my friend wanted to punch me because I was acting-up, but I got so tired I ended up falling asleep without realizing it anyways, haha.
And our country flips a shit of worry about people of Middle Eastern descent as potential terrorists? My god...some of the crap he spouted was downright disturbing, and I echo your sentiment MasPan in hoping that he gets help, because escalation in acting out the crap he says he'll do could get really ugly really fast.

Oh, and don't tell him you know gays online.
He had addiction problems beforehand, but likely had his recruiters ignore it/didn't tell them/people lied for him to push him through recruitment. During boot camp we don't have access to substances that can be abused, even cigarettes, and this training facility was the first place we'd been to after boot camp (as such, the first chance he had to bring his addictions back to surface again).
