Looks like a red-colored Pole Arm Dragon Fury attacking animation.

Unless I'm totally blind and/or my memory sucks, it looks like some kind of cross between a Grim Phantom Watch and Alishar, without the floating watch in front and shaded in black/gray instead of white/blue. Either way, I don't recognize the monster, so chances are it's something new. It sure looks like something the Black Magician would use, though.

They look like scarred bears from Arans quests.

Edit: I cropped and sharpened that image a bit and turned the monsters vertically. They seem to be upside down in the picture. Looks even more bears to me atleast.
Edit2: And that looks like a war machine the mapler is riding. Hitting the ground with tha machine, making monsters fly. Seems kinda, weird. But as stated before, pirate with machine would make sense with omega and such.

In the first/second screen shots it looks like a person riding in a robot or something with the fist smashing the ground, but I don't know just guessing on stuff. Hmm lasergun would fit with that, also with the technology incorperated in something like that it would fit pirates (as Kyrin and that guy in omega sector are friends or something like that o.O ).

That's what I was going to say it looked like--either a character in a giant suit of armor, or a robot.

Perhaps we will finally be getting a class that is oriented around machines/technology?

Wow, that's a huge find. That pretty much confirms that one of these new jobs will be a mechanic. This attack apparently flips monsters UPSIDE DOWN. O_o

Edit: Unfortunately, the concept isn't exactly fresh, since justin DID link to that video which shoes almost the exact same design from another game. (though i think it was a nexon game anyway, but the point still stands)

Maplestory 2 is Kavatina story, maplestory 2 was the project name for it, as was project heroes to Mabinogi Heroes/ Vindictus. Two different games wouldn't be developed in the same area in the building; chances are the building could be split up by game, and then by department. Possibly. Moreover, it was a purposeful teaser; they wouldn't give a teaser for another game in a maplestory video.

And no, that still doesn't look like a bear. It's probably a new monster; looking fairly original to me, to say the least.

Turn the bear upside down and you'll see it. It's definitely a bear.

Maplestory 2 is not Kavatina story. Since there were not much people playing Kavatina, the game got shut down. ITS Gone Forever. Vindictus = MabinogiHeros, Korean nexon is making Maplestory2 , Mabinogi2 right now and they are going to be released in 2010 nov~dec or 2011
