You might think it's stupid. But I'm banning luck from the MetaGame. I always hated luck. Anything with luck always irked me. We'll see what the rest of them thinks, but just because I'm banning Focus Sash/Band doesn't mean your team will be swept. If you know how to use Taunt, it shouldn't be a problem for you unless you're facing a speedy Choice Bander.

I think this'll increase the challenge because you're not relying on Focus Sash/Band to take your fall for you. As for the HP-thing, it's to encourage more diverse sets.

Focus sash isn't luck, focus BAND should always be banned.
HP is a staple for most teams, it allows for more type coverage.

Already fixed errors. I thought of it for about a good 2 hours before I posted, actually. It's just other people have different opinions than I do, and I'm always open for changes. You make it seem like it's something that cannot be changed. I already changed it an hour or so before you posted that.

I'll sign up too. I haven't played anything besides UU in a long time, I am rusty as hell.

Are you being sarcastic? Like I said, I can easily change the HP-ban easily, I did that to make the tourney a bit harder on purpose. Well, I'm still open to the Focus Band/Sash comments, so I'm willing to listen. If I see enough votes on unbanning one of them, that's fine. I'm not unbanning both.

Also, you commented that we were all requesting HP to be unbanned, when in reality only 1 person was at that time - we were asking Focus Sash to be unbanned.

There's obvious differences between the two. Substitute isn't only used in situations where it would normally be killed. Substitute can commonly be used as a simple scapegoat to lesson the damage, regardless of whether or not it would've prevented the fatality of a Pokemon.

Exactly - it's an even more powerful than the focus sash, which was my point - he was banning the sash for its ability to provide a saving throw, but not Substitute, which can do infinitely MORE things as well as that.

I never questioned the pineappleing band, god damn. I questioned SASH. FFS, nobody here asked for Focus Band to be allowed, we asked for SASH. I couldn't remember the names, so I even specifically said to ban the 10% chance one and allow the 1 use one.

I think a fair few people would enjoy a standard OU battle, myself included.

Rayquaza posted something I over-looked, I don't intend this on replacing anything. I just wanted to do a Shoddy tourney during the Summer if I had time to work on it. Official date isn't even announced anyways. I don't even know if I'll get enough people, since the rules aren't standard-OU matches like the typical tourneys.

The only thing that is different about this tournament from a standard OU tournament is the fact you must use a Dragon and use a Choice item....which practically everyone uses in a standard OU game anyways.
