How to get an Adventurer rings for 170+ players

Assuming global ms gets adventurer rings at some point, how are level 170+ players supposed to get one since if you are higher than 170, gaining 30 levels would be rather difficult when 200 is your stopping point.:f6:

Does anyone know if there is a work around coded, such as if 170+ get a ring automatically (or maybe just at 200)? If not this would severely disadvantage someone for being that high level if there is no other way to get one.

I guess you could just say make a new char, get to 50 and you're set, but then that character doesn't have one! (assuming you don't just make it specifically for that and then delete) It may not be much extra work but people who achieve that high level shouldn't have to do that just because it is impossible for them to get 30 more levels.

This is the work around, this is why you can trade the rings once through storage to another character.

Well, aren't there some jobs that don't get much of a boost (if at all) from the rings' critical abilities compared to the lilin's ring? If that's so, just make a character that that applies to. I think that applies to most jobs that lack a natural crit.

That only applies to heroes and paladins. For pretty much everyone else, crit ring > everything else.

You don't just get a new character to 50. =/ I would have done that on JMS already if that were the case. The quest STARTS at level 50 and you have to get 30 more levels. So the EARLIEST you can get the ring is at 80.

Maybe jMS screwed it up for you, or you didn't try hard enough. Originally, we know of 2 methods to get the ring: Pre-existing chars get the quest to lvl 30 times at lvl 50 regardless of their current level; newly made chars get the ring at lvl 50.

I'm making a new Infighter, since it levels pretty fast, to test the new characters get one at level 50, but according to the Maple database, you can only get one as early as 80. =/ ONLY level 200s can get them instantly, so anyone between 140 and 199 is screwed out of rings on THOSE characters.

Additional note assuming the non-stat related information from here is still valid.

If you level up 30 times from your current level, you can get the Adventurer’s Cruel Ring.

If you level up from Lv. 1 ~ 50, you can get the Adventurer’s Cruel Ring, Adventurer’s Critical Ring, or the Adventurer’s Magical Ring.

This would imply that you're stuck earning only the Cruel Ring if you would rather not make a new character.

Eh? That can't be true. According to a picture on MapleSonar (JMS database website), a level 200 got a Magical Ring from being level 200. lol

I don't think Kyo is right, but no one in our guild levelled up their already existing char, so I dont know.

Anyone level 200, whether they hit it before or during the event, will get a ring. Anyone between 140 ~ 199 is pretty much screwed (Maybe around 130, but with leech and 4x experience, I don't know how fast someone can get from 130 to 160).
