Was CrimsonWood as good as you expected?

Shitty quests

Shitty spawns of certain monsters

Shitty drop rates

I don't even think most of the maps are trainable, since you run the risk of getting trampled by Bigfoot or Horseman, or they're just too.. asdklgdj;

And for an expansion that was supposed to cater to a wide range of levels (I think), everyone under 110 or something get effed over :/[/COLOR]

Nexon, to this date, continue to fail to realize that the players don't just want nice maps with nice theme and nice maze and whatever - they NEED TO be able to actually train. I mean sure, I can guess that the Phantom Forest part is sorta unalterable to keep with its theme, but at least make the cavern spawn mono-monster species instead of Windraiders everywhere to watermelon up the exp rate. THAT alone would've made CWK a lot better.

At least Crimson Guardians were better than I thought. I thought I was unable to train there at all.

I would consider this a fail on NEXON's behalf because of how easy it is to die at that place (Bigfoot, the totems, etc.), and for being glitched to the point of setting off the auto-ban systems unjustly.

Note that I've yet to go to CWK, and that I don't have an archer, but all of the horror stories of that place just gives me one more reason to avoid it.

I think Crimsonwood Keep is AWESOME!

Sure there are some bugs and stuff, but the setting is great!
Great music, Great graphics, and Great maps (extreme large maps = good)

I gotta say, Nexon did a good job here! Smile

The only problem I have with Crimsonwood is the fact that certain monsters have resistances to an element, and then they cram them all together in one map so if you kill something with Ice, an Ice resistant monster is in your way, if you use Fire, a Fire resistant monsters gets in the way, and same with Lit.

Other than that, It was decent.

Pretty nice patch, not to mention BigFoot is my new best friend, too bad he's usually busy hanging out with someone else =/

Imagine if Anego spawned in 8 different maps, did under 100 magic damage, and could be killed in 2 minutes by a level 8x character.

It's way better than anego =x

Well i thought it was going to end up like showa, and guess what, shitty quests, nearly impossible to get to cwk, and nothing helpful for mages in cwk. gg

Having had more time to explore around and mess with quests, plus the lovely blocks of text storyline, I'd say it was actually better than I expected. It was mysterious, annoying, at one point mysteriously annoying, but overall it was an interesting and fun experience, and it's not over yet. Plus it looks like there's at least a few places that are worth messing around in even after the main quests are done.

The first map after the massive jumping segments would possibly be good for players in their mid 70's to mid 80's. Primarily due to the massive spawn of the lovably snipeable Windraiders.
 that has me thinking...

As for the drop rates, we can give me a few maintenance check-ups/patches to fix this up, seeing as it is new and the the exchange quest(Which gives a really good deal if only sometimes) has to use the same items required for a few quests.

What I want is to see them fix up some of the maps a little bit, make em more tidyer. They could also make it a little easier to make it through the forest for the first time(Warning: Big Feet crossing?). Balancing the enimies is also gonna have to be done, perhaps increase the overall level/exp/atk on some(okay, just windraider) while cutting others(Nightshadows, Elderwraiths)

Otherwise, seeing as players over 110 claim to have been shafted the past 12 months, why not let them have something?

the autoban glitch ruined it for me. Instead of a haunted house style map and portal layout, why not something challenging instead of annoying? Maybe a time limited puzzle to enter boss rooms
Not much more to add since I have not returned since my ban was done
