Where are you guys at on your Heart Gold/Soul Silver playthrough?

Guys i beat the E4 and im in kanto, do you battle the gyms in order? i dont want to go in a gym and get pwnt by overleveled pokes.

Lt. Surge's pokes are nearly the same level as Lance's pogeys, and iirc you had trouble with electric types. I suggest levelling up a Gligar up and I could help evolve it into Gliscor.

Gliscor can totally destroy Surge from the inside out.

This is the recommended order of fighting

Surge -> Sabrina -> Erika -> Misty -> Brock -> Janine -> Blaine -> Blue -> Red

If you need a bug move, level up Ampharos for Signal Beam

Gligar is Ground/Flying just to let you know which is excellent against Surge if you have trouble.

Before Amulet/Luck Incense. It's around 24k with the amulent/incense. So yeah. Impossible to lose money.

Bleh, to get a Mean Look Ralts, it needs to be bred first for Mean Look, then levelled to get Hypnosis before you evolve it with the Dawn Stone.

So...

Catch a Female Ralts

Breed it with a male Duskull, Dusclops, Dusknoir, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Misdreavus or Mismagius

Get egg and hatch, make sure its male..

Stick an Everstone on the newly hatched Ralts..

Level Ralts to 43 For Hypnosis

Take off Everstone, use RC and evolve it to Kirlia

Use Dawn Stone and evolve to Gallade

Use TM 12 to teach it taunt.

Level it ONCE for False Swipe.

This is going to take about two hours to make...

It's probably more efficient to just keep running and dying, which would still level your character without breaking the bank at all.
