The Spectrum League!

Quick Claw only gives a slight advantage. Only reason it is unfair is because of the fact that it overrides Trick Room, but I don't think people even use Trick Room that much unless they're setting it up for a FAST Dus or Rhyp. Even then, LOL?

Quote:Quick Claw

Gives the user a 20% chance to go first. This only makes the Pokémon go first if it is using a move of the same priority as the other Pokémon. Higher priority moves will still always go before lower priority moves, regardless of Quick Claw. Pokemon activating Quick Claw completely ignore Trick Room.

It potentially can put an end to a sweep out of luck. Pretty unfair.

There will be a slight revision beneficial to challengers.
It will not be completely all out for leaders.
It will be tough, just not COMPLETELY tough.
In fact, I'll probably just use 4 pokemon.
This is just for me though, Migs will also not use all of his top pokemon.
Solar, never too late to be a challenger. Especially when this just started LOL.
You can receive any power items you want.
And smogon helps for pokemon strategies

Yeah solar, sorry but I think we need someone who EV trains to challenge the challengers more.

People dont usualy EV train(at least not the casual poke-gamers in SP), so maybe thats why.

Any site with tips on EV training?

I learned from youtube vids, I'd give you the link for the main one but I can't seem to find them anymore.

Pretty sure serebii.net would help.

Tbh this makes me want to pokesav pokemons,i wanna battle online but the whole ev/iv think doesnt appeal to me. I dont think theres non Ev/Iv tournies because you never really know where the dude trained his pokes.
And even if i did Pokesave pokes i wouldnt now how to set up a team(because i have pokes i want even if i dunno if theyre any good aka: Raikou, Nidoking, Lapras, Espeon, Probopass, Tyranitar. i would not know what moves to use in which situations too.

Actually I used to ev train and get the best natures and IV's possible but I eventually got tired of how much time it consumed and I started using Pokesav.

I guess I should participate, but my current ingame team kind of sucks(I stopped breeding/training last year(except for Giratina, which is somewhere in the 80s now) once HG/SS were announced). I have pokesav to create anything at my Pearl/HG roms, so I might want to fight using that. Problem is that I didn't read everything yet so yeah...

Either way, I'm up for a challenge so PM me if you want to fight. My time zone is GMT+1(should put that in my sig). In a month I will also be completely ready to take on anyone because then I'll have transferred everything to Soul Silver (which I will get next Thursday, should take ~2 weeks to get up to Red, then transfer).

Also, if I use pokesav, I create the parent pokemon(for nature and IVs and such), then make a few eggs, choose the right one, set the amount of steps left to 256, hatch it, set EVs, level, moves and item, and done. No messing with the Nature or IVs.

EDIT: I took a look at my Diamond, and made a team. It's a pretty random one, but it should do well as it's quite solid type wise.

Does anyone have a Wide Lens for me? Nevermind, found out that you could buy it in the Veilstone gamecorner.

Could each clause, etc. be bolded?
ie:
Sleep Clause - <words about it>

Makes it really easy to skim over.

Is Pokesaving 31 IVs in everything within league rules? It's POSSIBLE to do without 3rd party programs, but about a one in three million chance of getting it, unless there's magic ways to manipulate IVs I don't know about.

Was something else I was going to add... forgot it though. Might remember it later.

Sir, you're not going to get that many participants, as many Southperryans who play HGSS don't EV train, don't battle competitively, and don't battle, period, not to mention the fact they still didn't beat the game yet. If you want like, 25 participants, you gotta bring it to Shoddy.

Actually, some of the fun of this might be with people that don't EV train doing their best to show that they can defeat people who do. I hope this stays alive for a while so more people can participate or think about it a little longer. Also, with quite a few people using flashcards(and thus having the possibility to use pokesav to create a legit team stat wise), and some of those cards supporting wi-fi(mine does, but since I still buy games I play online with those) they might join as well.

Also, battling online, or playing against others can be fun. A long time ago(think 2008) I did some battles online, won some of them, lost some of them(perfect timing to forget that Ancient Power was special and try to counter it with Intimidate), but I had a lot of fun just using the pokemon I had. And since we already have your UU tournament for Shoddy players(which I expect to return, and maybe OU tournaments too) it might be nice to set up something for DS gameplay. And since there's an "all level 100" option which works like the battle frontier training isn't a problem.

@Hazzy: I don't think pokesaving for perfect IVs should be considered legit. It's just to hard to do. I personally think a Pokémon from 2 pokesaved parents with perfect IVs is fine. As long as the PID, IVs, Nature and Ability haven't been changed a Pokémon should be allowed, but when you change those it should as it kills every aspect of breeding, rather than leaving a little to luck.

I'm up for any challenges to be a leader, or an actual challenge for a little 'badge.'

State which, and however many pokemon you want me to use (Min. 4)

I'd much rather you didn't. It is possible, but as you said HIGHLY(ridiculously) unlikely, just put 31 into the ones your pokemon really needs for offense if it's offensive and defense if it's defensive, etc.
