Where are you guys at on your Heart Gold/Soul Silver playthrough?

Okay.. where's Gary/Blue/Green whatever last gym guy? I didn't do the gyms in order, I don't think that matters, but I didn't catch Entei, Raikou, Ho-oh, Zapdos, or Moltres yet. Do I have to catch all/some of these or is there some other requirement...?

He's on cinnibar( or however you spell it) island. You show him 7 kanto badges and he'll go back to his gym in viridian.

I just beat Red with only a 79 Typhlosion. The rest of my team was level 17 revive mules. He has TWO water pokemon. So. Effing. Hard.

Psh, that's nothing. I've been trying to beat him with a level 60 Unown, gonna kill myself if I lose one more time.

im stuck in olivine, i cant beat Jasmine for the life of me. wish i knew where i could go to level up some but i dont feel like taking a long time to do so.

I had that problem too. Not much you can do but kill the Raticates in the grass by Olivine, at least as far as I could tell.

Jasmine took me like 5 minutes (literally), it was sad.
Ive had trainer battles longer than that.

Anyways, beat Lance at about 5 AM today, after about 4 hours of going through the E4 devising a strategy to keep my pokes alive.
Was forced to use Lugia, which fell apart during the last of the E4.
During Lance, I had just my Raikou, Entei, and Lugia (50,44,46, respectively), no revives.
Both Raikou and Entei fell by the first lvl49 Dragonite.
All of the times it was confused it hit itself, fell down easy.
By the time it's all over, I'm down to just Lugia with ~150hp, two hyper pots, no revives and at his Charizard.
It uses shadow class, I use hyper pot, shadow, hyper,
I finally just use extrasensory (all others out of PP), it takes out a mere 35%ish, it uses a shadow class to get me down to 23 hp,
I looked down in sadness as I knew I had lost, so I just use extrasensory again, and it's a f'ucking crit, Charizard goes down.


ATM, I'm at vermillion, gonna start heading back into gyms in a couple minutes.

On the Heart Gold Version: I was taking on Ho-oh, almost all of my team died before Ho-oh was caught

On the Soul Silver Version: I was taking on Lugia using my Latias that I migrated from Sapphire. Most of her attack moves ran out of PP, but guess what. I caught Lugia using ONE ULTRA BALL! Just holy crap! That was shocking. First it's Rayquaza from Sapphire, and now Lugia from Soul Silver. Not to mention, it was my first try catching Lugia! I'm a lucky bastard.

Now to start grinding, which is going to be more tedious than it was in Ruby and Sapphire.

Haven't started yet, because currently my sister is using my DS to play Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. I can't deny her from playing such an awesome game, since I finished my file several months ago. Dear sweet Lugia will have to wait.

Just started today, and beat Faulkner's gym. He's so pathetic, he's a joke. Three ThunderShocks from my Mareep pwned him.

Currently, I have a Quilava and a Flaaffy, both level 15. Still unsure of what else to add to my team except maybe the red Gyarados. Any suggestions?

Currently grinding for the E4, trying to fix the fatal flaw in my team; Victreebell. It skipped Razor Leaf for some reason, and it's strongest Grass move is literally Vine Whip. Still. It has Vine Whip, Cut, Sleep Powder, and Sludge Bomb. I have no decent TMs to teach it, either, so I'm kinda stuck. Any ideas?

right now im waiting for an egg to hatch, then im going to build an eevee that'll later evolve into either a jolteon, leafeon, or stay as an eevee. two moves i know it will have irregardless are trump card and flail. still havent beaten jasmine yet, though i might have a chance; i put a drowzee into the day-care and forgot about it. went there today after passing into goldenrod to check the GTS, and i found it was now at level 30, so i traded it and now have a level 30 machop.

Past Johto, have Lt. Surge and Sabrina defeated.

I'm looking for a Ditto to breed with my Staryu, because it has a crappy ability. I'm also faming with Meowths, using the Pick-up Ability.
