Weekly Scheduled Maintenance

Dear Maplers,

Please be aware that we will be performing a server-wide maintenance on Tuesday, March 16, starting at 10 PM Pacific / 1 AM Eastern and will last approximately 10 hours. During this time, game servers will be offline, and the website may be temporarily unavailable. We will work to complete this process and bring the servers up as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN MAINTENANCE POLICY: Previously, it has been our policy to conduct a few very extended maintenances to accomplish a large set of tasks. We’ve changed our policy to perform weekly 4-8 hour maintenances, with the benefit that we are able to complete maintenance procedures within the allotted time slot. We hope this change allows players to plan around maintenance days (late Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning) more effectively.

As we get closer, we will announce the official date but right now it is coming this spring.

I was hoping for evan before I go back to school on the 29th

Why is there never a Kino Package? And good, I still need a bit more time to accumulate my Evan gears and such, lastly, why did they ever move away from the weekly SC's, it seemed as if they had one every week anyhow and these scheduled ones are reportedly shorter, but they are about the same length as the non-weekly ones.

So after having daily server checks for a week, and then scheduling a regular one for 10 hours nexon decides to announce a policy of weekely server checks limited to 4-8 hours? :f6:

They'll probably patch when the current events end, or near, like they usually do.

UWHAAA?! I'm surprised.. :f6: I don't care much for Evan, but so there gonna try to stay within 10 hours for SC's and end up finishing early, I will die laughing if they still end up with extensions. Looks like Wednesday nights for me will be boring.

Spring = September for me I bet they will make the Evan patch at 11:59pm PST on the 31st of March.

The weekly SC sucks for all those that can only get on to play and have 2x Cards for that time period.

It doesn't matter when they do a SC... Someone is always gonna be pissed because there is always going to be someone with a 2x card at any time of the day.

Seems like it, since the Night of the Hunter Hunter event ends the day before.

Well, took them a few years, but it seems they finally figured out how manage their time better. Hopefully their "policy change" works as intended.

Though I suppose I'm speaking way to soon to have a positive outlook on this. It will probably end up like how when students get spring break (all that extra time), they just put off their work till the last minute regardless and end up with the "I didn't have enough time" issue.
