There was a tripfriend on /a/ named James that was black and used to post his real life reaction faces on /a/. He had tons of anime swag around his room. I never saved his images though, and that was like 3 years ago. I don't browse /a/ anymore and don't think he does.

Two people I once knew were black and into Anime/Collectors.[/COLOR]

This guy's pretty open about his love for anime, or at least one in particular:

Interestingly, Samuel L. Jackson is a known otaku. His favorite two series are Ninja Scroll and Black Lagoon, information courtesy of an interview about the release of Afro Samurai. I showed Prov and Greg the link in IRC once, but I'm too lazy to fish it up now.

Also, L>for Spidey to reupload the picture of the black guy in a Mugi shirt.

About Samuel L Jackson, that, I'm not too surprised by. I knew about Afro Samurai, so yeah. As for Eddie Rath, that's some cool shit right there. Damn. What a beast. A black beast . . . that likes anime.

I should show what's inside of my desk , eh . .

Mostly just "oppai" related DVDs of Japanese women wearing bikinis, in towels, etc. A chick from my computer class knew I was into stuff like that, so she burnt me like 100 DVDs of that stuff without me asking. She told me she had a crush on me, actually.. this was a year ago. I'll take pics of some of the Oppai-DVDs that I have, yum.

Kanye West likes some series. Solja boi apparently likes Gundam and Haruhi, and whatever else he's into but never let slip his tongue. Don't pay too much attention to people, I just remember some thread on this about a year ago somewhere about famous niggers who slipped a clue (subtle or not).

Solja boi let the slip about Gundam out during his "SOLJA BOI'S TRIP TO JAPAN" videos when he was playing some arcade game with Japs while screaming stuff like "YOU A BITCH NIGGA, YOU A BITCH NIGGA! KONNICHIWAAAAAAAAAAAA! I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU, NIGGA! THIS AIN'T NO GUNDAM WING NIGGA, I'M THE MUDDAFUCKIN GUNDAM KING!" over his headset to the other team. Somewhere else he said that one of his dances he got the idea from by watching Haruhi (lol).

I need to find where he said the Haruhi thing.

Kanye on the other hand gave pretty subtle hints in some interviews apparently, but only in a way that whoever was into anime would know. It wasn't something that anyone could pick up on. He actually also made one of his music videos a live action version of Akira...

I can not believe that some people take Animes and stuff to this extent... there's obsession but this is on a new level... I'd be embarrassed to show a room like certain ones shown here to anybody... online or in real life.

Maybe it's racist, but I wouldn't completely stuff my room with items that aren't even related to my culture at all... maybe it's better if that room belonged to a Japanese...

Yeah, in our older dorms, of which mine is one. But I was referring to the bathroom because one residence hall on campus had a whole floor's walls painted with scenes from the classic Worlds 1-1 and 1-2 of the original Super Mario Bros., so I was curious if you were right down the street lol.

My cousin, well, no, one of my cousins has a room filled with wall-scrolls galore, anime-related. I was like 9 at the time though. He was huge when it came to anime. Growing up, I watch and read manga a lot, like almost daily. But you wouldn't be able to tell irl that I liked either, because I don't bring it up. I do have an obsession with video-games, though that's evident everywhere I go, online, irl, school, etc!
