After many requests of Maplers wanting to know my equips, I have decided to finally reveal it to you all! Coming up in the Maple World and working for everything I have, i chose the song titled "Hate it or Love it" by the game to theme this video by. My characters history seems to follow that motto closely. Either you hate me or you love me!

Really just a lot of nonsense in this video that most people will find completely random but, if you want to see my equips you'll have to sit through it! Follows the life of "VarsityHero" played as Shawn as he struggles to become the best of the best coming from a life of nothing growing up in a drug infested, asian gangster drug dealing hoodlum neighborhood to one of MapleStory's finest!

It's a request a lot of people have. They ask me all the time what my equips are. Now I can refer them to this video. =P

I have no way to prove the following statement but here goes:

I worked 100% for everything I have. Never bought NX or mesos. I never once "hacked HT" or used any sort of shortcut or dupe or scam or whatever other malicious/easy way out. People might bring up the glitch on the lunchbox but really all that did was make it "more work" to get the item to perfect. I still needed to actually find a way to perfect the item myself. I'm not really trying to prove anything to anyone but I do want that to be said. Weather it's believed or not is another story!

Anyone who knows me, knows all the methods I have to make meso, weather it be selling bigfoot leech (Varsity Bigfoot in Scania/Bello/Kradia/Mardia), selling power leveling (Kradia tks for the idea lan!), inter server transfer marketing, selling nx, selling zhelmets and more.

It's like the old saying goes, "if you want something bad enough, it can be achieved." If I can do it so can you!

I know none of this really means anything in the grander sense of life AKA I can never brag to my friends or family members about my "godly stuff" but it did give me confidence in my ability to read markets (I truly believe maple functions in a lot of ways to a RL stock market type setting) and helped me remember anything can be achieved if you truly want it bad enough.

I'm sure a lot of you will find most of this really dumb and just laugh at thinking I can even compare most of this as "experience" to life ):

The glitched lunchbox WAS the easy way out. Abusing a flaw in the game is not 'more work' when in the long run getting your Hero that extra 10 ATT legitimately would have been much harder.

I personally thought the video was pretty bad. It was a choppy 3 minutes dedicated entirely to your equipment. Nobody likes to watch others brag, and it was hardly inspirational; you didn't even attack anything. The whole running-around-kerning-for-2-minutes was pretty annoying too. Also, the song cuts out 30 seconds before the video ends. Pretty LAME.

Nice gear, but having to mute the video and skip around to actually SEE what I went there to see, was lame. Couldn't that have easily been a screenshot?

Though my experiences were different, I get a lot of this "maple story isn't an experience" crap too. People are just too quick to discriminate based on the stereotype that "people who dwell on video games have no lives", which is just unfortunate.

That being said, I didn't like the video. It really did seem to confirm that stereotype I just mentioned, but I guess it's because you only aimed it at a Mapling audience. Your video would be a lot better if you considered the fact that not everyone plays Maple. Keeping that in mind, generally if people don't play Maple, showing a bunch of random screens and then flashing too quickly over your equips are pretty boring.

You should have had some sort of storyline behind each equip to at least make the storyline more flavorful and the video more enjoyable to watch. If you're going to remake this video, which I hope you do, make a story behind each equip. For example, flash over your lunchbox, then show yourself using it to attack maybe Black Crow. Flash over your Taragon and maybe show yourself making it with Maker, or maybe have a clip of you equiping or leveling it.

Anyhoo, to everyone saying that the lunchbox is glitched, also keep in mind that he did have to pay a lot extra $$ to Nexon for those extra scrolls. o_o

it was what people have been asking him, i dont see how you can complain. Sure the fact that the equipment was shown for a very short period of time didn't make a whole lot of sense, but do you really need 3 minutes to read that its a 24 atk shield? or 14 atk cape or w/e it was.

Hard to imagine you made all of that from BF/zhelms, dunno about your merchanting though. Nice equip, too bad about your glitched unlegit lunchbox though. It's a big ugly stain on an otherwise somewhat-believable record. I can only imagine how much $$$ those facestompers cost though, I don't see any reason but actual cash that anybody would want to sell shoes like that. Also if you're taking equipment upgrade recommendations, chaos some glimmering altair's earrings since they have 2 str clean, and your overall could use some work too. Your gear looks better suited for a NL. Did I miss your face/eye acc trying to avoid the lame music/video or do you just not have either?
