So, who here has played Okami?
Your thoughts on it? I thought it was pretty fun. It was like Legend of Zelda taking place in Japan. Only Link is a goddess, Zelda is a goddess, and Gannon is a dragon that gets drunk.

Glad OP made this Okami thread for me to post in.

Gladly!
Okay, so as the title suggests, the story revolves around this wolf, right?

BUT GUESS WHAT! The wolf is a FUCKING GODDESS!

Okay, moving on to the story. So basically, there's this ancient evil dragon with multiple heads. He poisons the land of glorious nippon, turning the beautiful flower filled landscape into something vile, toxic wastelands. You're a fucking wolf who won't stand of that bull, so you're sent out by this tree spirit chick. You go out on an adventure, scaling large and beautiful landscapes. You fight imps and demons and crap, controlling various elements with a secondary attack system where you freeze time and use a paintbrush. Along the way, you gain new elements and such from various other gods you find along your journey. Obviously, you use these elements to help you along the game's puzzles (wind to put out fire, summoning the sun to trigger certain events, using "slash" to break rocks, etc.) as well as help you defeat enemies.

If you enjoy legend of Zelda, I'm sure you'd enjoy Okami. It's like Capcom's (well Clover, but I'm not getting into that) version of LoZ, really. At the same time, it's not some cheap knockoff. Give it a try, man.

It was originally made for the PS2, but there was a Wii port. The controls on the port were so-so, and since you had more precision with the PS2 joysticks, you may mess up when drawing some skills. Not sure if MotionPlus helps with that or anything.
