New avatar makin

I'm shopping myself a new avatar, but I feel it's missing something. It may look better after I crop, shrink, and frame it...




Don't say it's missing the bottom. I didn't work on shopping anything at the bottom because it was going to be cropped out anyway.

Ooh, I want that long blood brush. I like the way it bleeds into the black. lol.

But you should try a quick shrink/crop/frame job just to see if it looks better.

Can't put my finger on what seems to be missing.

You can't see many of the details when you shrink it anyway, so I don't know why I worry about this kind of stuff when editing images.

What's the appeal in having extremely psychopathic animu womens for avatars? Surely if i picked an anime avatar it would be something awesome or supah kawaii.

Shop that facepalm on the canvas from your current avatar into the screen of Yuno's phone; leave the blood stain in the phone, of course. Of course it might be too small after getting cropped so when you frame it, take it from the phone up. Basically leaving as much emphasis of the phone as possible.

I like my current avatar too, which is why I've taken so long to change it. I usually switch avatars a lot, but my current one fits me so perfectly.

Oh, I like this idea. I wish I wasn't a dodohead who forgot to make a history restore point before cropping. Thought I saved the PSD file along with the png I uploaded to imageshack, but I guess I didn't.

Border effects look to overdone. The one on the right is always nice to look at.

You get distracted by the border when it's there, when the point of the picture is yuno.

Left or right looks the same, am I missing something here? I prefer one or other.

Just so you know, I love the border.

Postan progress on my remake. Made it a little differently this time, and decided to color the whole thing because I thought I'd like it overall as an image to keep, rather than just using it as an avatar. Still working on blending the outline in and perhaps lessening the highlight on the cell screen a bit.
