Any recent hacked accounts from Southperry users?

someone else. Strangely two seperate accounts that are both played by the same siblings in the same house were hacked back to back. one right after the other. one a lvl 200 bishop, the other a lvl 180 NL. Different people made the accounts and at different times.

I doubt resetting will help. My friend's 187 NL was hacked a few days ago, he tried to rebuild using funds he stored on another account. They logged into his acc again just a few hours ago. He doesn't have anything left now.

He changed his password before adding additional funds?

Did he get the hack where they sent a file via msn & stold his e-mail or the other hack where they just take the valuables?

I have not added anything to the account that I lost, rather I removed everything the hackers overlooked the first time around (so now they really have nothing except clean equips from npc & nx clothes (perma). If they have logged into it again (after I changed my pw) then they have not bothered to change the pin.

I guess leaving my mains logged in 24/7 has purpose.

If they've already been on the account once they know all the characters on it and who to DC if they want to retake it. It would be more practical to add a new character to the account and idle on it.

This is a little off topic but is anyone else having trouble changing their passwords? Everytime I try it just clears the spaces and tells me to enter a password.

same with my bff and her bf (they live together, but play maple on diff comps). her account got hacked first, then his account got hacked right after on the same day. and no, they haven't been inactive for months nor go to any fansites/forums. too much of a coincidence, not like the hacker knows they live together or something o.O the only thing that links their accounts together is their wedding ring.

it's almost as if they dont even need your info to get in, just a character name T.T

but if they know the IGN, they will probaly still be tracking it and can possibly just set an automatic spam hack on your character (which is possible), so when you come out you D/C. if you make another character, they won't know its you and you can atleast talk to other people lol

The website list all your chars anyway, looks like they are just gonna keep takeing everyone out one by one. Nexon is makeing a fortune off me for item locks for equips.

Not if the password was changed after they were hacked though. If they changed the password, and the hacker is still able to get on it, then it will be obvious they either have a keylogger, or Nexon does actually have a leak somewhere on their site.

My pin was reset, although my e-mail does not show any other request for being changed, besides the one I requested.

All of my characters were stripped, with exception of my untradable items and stuff they found to be crap. They also took any karmable item I owned, including my 15 STR goblin cape and my clean Scarlion helm.
I have never shared my info, and all of my info is different than any other character or account on websites I ever used.

This is getting ridiculous. With all these hackings I dunno if I should even get to level 200 if it will mean it will all be for naught. Can't believe this problem isn't at least being acknowledged.

Yeah, and sure its not like pure proof he was hacked. I'm just pointing it out. You can go through the top 100 and see a few stripped chars.(yet again doesnt mean they were hacked but it shows how escalating this is)

Mine was random words and numbers mixed.

My main mule account, the leader of my guild, was hacked on December 22. I lost over 400m worth the items as well as my '06 Yellow Bandana. I have been playing on my main account since May 2005. I can verify that if the hackings were due to keyloggers, then my mule, who logs in maybe once a month, would not have been my hacked account. The account had a 51 Cleric, 30 bowman, 23 pirate and a 2x Thunder breaker. The account I am on everyday is my main account, with my 157 Bishop and 8 other characters, including my shop mule. I also have several other mule accounts that i log into randomly. I have an ore account that I log into once a day at least. Keyloggers are out of the question. I do believe that it is a breach in Nexon security, and I don't believe there is anything that we can do about it, except sit in a corner and cry.

Hmm Curry hasn't been hacked. There's probably nothing of value there anyway.

I'm still interested in knowing when people who have been hacked last changed their pass.

I had changed my pass roughly 6 months ago. Strangely it was the only one of my accounts that i had changed passes recently on.

My pass was letters and numbers. Not a dictionary word.
