I find it hard to believe that the world can end. By any natural means anyways. Sure, we have tectonic plates underneath us that are constantly changing along with ice ages here and there and asteroids that hit the Earth, but so far, the Earth has survived 4.5 billion years without "ending". I just don't see how any of this could ever culminate together to create such an event. If we talk about "the end of the world for humans" than that's a bit different, but I even find THAT hard to believe. Humans are cowards. If there is an ice age, we will go to the equator. If the world water level rises, we'll get on our boats and eat Campbells Soup for a millennium. The only real way all humans can die is if the ozone layer is completely destroyed and we lose all our oxygen. Then we'd be fucked.

Well, in fact they didn't, and that's why I used quotes. It's just that their calendary ends on December 21st, 2012. And people started to think it'll be the end of the world because they were able to predict SOME other astronomical phenomena.

I mean, there's this Christian scientist guy who figures the end of the world is gonna be in May 11, 2011 even, found simply by looking at the numbers in the bible.

BTW tha movie 2012 has the most impossible situations ever. How the hell do you fly a plane through a sulfur cloud of a super explosive volcano, get into the cloud, and still not have the engines screw up?
Even worse: how do you fly into a crumbling city WITHOUT being hit by debris considering, in both situations, you have an AMATEUR pilot?

Anyway the world could end tomorrow, tonite, whenever the hell it wants. So i'll just live my life till then and decide what the hell to do later.
