Aran Ring

I agree. I doubt Nexon planned for this to happen in any way. However, they brought it on themselves by creating multiple Lilin's Rings (unique). No other versions did that. How would they stop this?

Allow only one Aran to be created per account? Not gonna happen.
Make the 30 and 50 rings expire? I doubt it.

Seriously. What could they do now that they've already made three different rings? Remove the first two? "Oops, guess that wasn't smart."

a) do that (I'd be fine with this, level 70 is not even hard)

b) figure out how to make a quest give stat improvements to items, and just have a single ring that is "upgraded" by changing its stats instead of exchanging it, resulting in a single item id. They already have NPCs that give out non-average equip stats, should be possible to do this. Maybe just by taking away the one you've got, giving back an above average one. (or start with below average at 30, then get average at 50, then above at 70 - whatever)

Or if they want to, set it to un-hammerable and give it 2 slots, and a special scroll... but that's more work.

Or Lilin could give you a statless ring as soon as you hit level 10 and give you 100% scrolls that each add 1+ all at levels 30, 50 and 70.

This is how it should have been done.

I'm just going to hold onto my lolMiwok Rings until Nexon says something. I bet this is going to turn out like the +3 HTP fiasco where the glitch abusers got way more compensation than they deserved.

If they make them scrollable, you know people will train to 30, use a single one, then chaos for massive attack. With 2 slots, beating 6 atk should not be too difficult for the well funded.

No, it should have been done like every other version. One ring. Simple. Then there would have been none of this discussion, problem, etc etc. I don't have a problem with this, and I probably even will take advantage of it. But it's silly that they did it in the first place.

Nexon. GMS. That about sums it up.

Damn, I am FAR too lazy to level up an Aran more than twice. I guess I'll get the level 70 ring, and the level 30 ring? It is all rather silly though. In the end it's not a GIGANTIC boost if you exploit this, but an unintended boost nonetheless.

I doubt it would work with several Lv70 rings anyway. My guess is that the different rings are treated as completely different things, although their names are the same. Either way, they're still one-of-a-kind. That means one Lv30, Lv50, and Lv70 ring. I doubt it'd let you have two or more Lv70 rings at once, since they're actually identical (unlike the previous two below it).

Just wondering. I have a lvl 40 aran at the moment.
If I got it to level 50, xferred the 2atk ring to another character on my account, delete
Make a level 30 Aran, xfer the 1 atk ring to another character, delete
Then re-make the level 70 aran as my permanent Aran character, would that still work?

I'm mainly wondering since I learned of this multiple ring effect a bit later since everyone's doing either 30-50-70 or 70-50-30 and I'm going out of order.

Yes it will. It doesn't matter which order you do it in, they all work.

No. I don't even think you can make Cygnus with it.

Thanks man.
One other thing:
Since we're able to equip all 3 rings on a main or alternative character, would it be possible to put all 3 on an Aran also?

Good luck to everyone who's doing this. Good opportunity to make some rep mules.

I don't understand why people keep saying "delete the aran". I still have a free character slot, can't I just make a new Aran in that slot and level it up to get the ring?

Of course you can. People are saying delete because we're all cheap and don't want to buy new slots or clean one out.

An effective way would be to have the lvl 30 and lvl 50 rings expire when the quest ends. And the lvl 70 ring be a permanent version.

Don't know if that's doable after people have rings in their possession, but that should of been what happened if they really wanted to avoid 3 rings.

Either way, I'm happy, I don;t mind getting 3 rings and like someone said, great way to make rep mules.

I want to keep up with all the new boosts and all but... it's too much work... i'll probably just get +2 ring and +1 ring.
