Larka's Drawings
#1
So I wanted to share my drawings with you SP.

Was thinking if I should finish this or not, I'm afraid drawing the torso may be too much and ruin it. I'm always a chicken pomegranate when it comes to finishing drawings >:

Absolutely love your acrylic pictures. Really like the one with two women, as well. I wish it was more detailed.

Great work.

I like the second one, a lot!

I also agree with Felix on the women's one, it's awesome. Such a shame those news on your tablet.

Just a little help, I'm no great artist myself but I think this will help you.

I think you need more contrast in your figures. You have really good definition of contrast in the brick road in that 1 acrylic one. But the grass sorta sinks and has no real definition. It's easy to guess that it is grass, but you aren't telling us that it is grass.

Same thing in your Surrealism one, wonderful background and transition. It's just your figure seems flat and irregular. Also, maybe popping the mirror would make it seem she is going through it more realistically though you can't really go though a mirror like that.

Otherwise, your digital work is amazing.
Keep on going! Good luck with watercolors, they make me so mad some times but I find if you set a base and then outline with sharpie/permanent markers it looks really nice.

Thank you Felix =)! I wish it was detailed too, unforunately that's around the time my tablet died, so I couldn't finish it.

Wow what wonderful advice!! I do appreciate it, and it helps a lot. Thank you so much =) I agree about the Surrealism looking too flat and such, I was pretty frustrated with her legs and the correct anatomy, I just slapped color on there and called it a painting ;P

Same with the Acid Trip one, the grass was difficult on how I wanted to do it, so I just left the base color there.

Yay unfinished paintings! /fail
