Slinger HP Washing
#1
I tried comprehending the hp/mp washing guide to the best of my ability but I'm noob Frown

I get the whole minimum MP needed concept and that 1 AP reset would take out 16 mp and put int btwn 18-22 HP...but this is where I kind of get stuck...

I need to know what the best way to go about washing would be given my situation...I don't really plan on getting INT gear...at least not until higher levels...so I had just planned on making my slinger's base INT be like 320 (essentially 2 washes a level guaranteed based off the MP taken from each AP reset) until about lvl 130-140 ish, at which point I would reset out the int into str and dex as needed for equips.

I was just going to AP reset the MP and throw it into HP...is this the best route to go? Does it not matter since slingers don't have HP increase? Am I just being stupid? Any help would be appreciated Smile

I'd rather buy int gears instead of all that money on base int, or possibly a combination. You'll save money that way.

Resetting 320 points of INT as well as using AP resets to move MP into HP? For HP you only need for the P bean and possibly in some obscure worldtour area? Good gravy don't you think that's a tad... overkill...?
That being said, INT equips would give you more than enough to get high enough HP for just about anything, if u start using it early on. For us that were already 150+ when HP washing was "invented", all we can really do is wash some here and there.
Its not like I need HP gear for horntail or anything, so I wouldn't recommend this kind of heavy, and above all costly, washing unless you are a basementdweller that get something more out of the extra useless HP than the regular higher lvl player. INT gear will carry you as far as you need to go.

Another thing to note is, high hp is always good, but it can be bad for corsairs with 1/1.

thanks for the feedback...I decided not to go as hardcore and just do 160 base so I get 1 wash a level...I don't have INT gear and it's too much of an inconvenience to make gear or ask friends to borrow (I'm sure I can at times but it's just less stressful this way to me)...

can someone let me know the range of HP a Corsair that hasn't hp washed at all should have by the time they are 120? thanks in advance

Another thing you should consider is that leech will not be an option come next patch, if we follow SEA and KMS. A slinger with 160 base INT will be a fantastic drag to actually play and level, no?

Yes it will be an option. Leech will become half as fast as it is now. That hardly makes it obsolete, just slower than before.

True in the perspective of abusing to get a char that is handicapped up to higher levels, but it will be at half speed at the very best. If you by INT gear can lvl faster and without having to spend as much money on washing, as well as actually play your character... Why would you take a less effective leech path?
I expect insane basementdwellers gonna find ways around it so they can have one lvl 200 of each class anyway. God knows life wouldn't be complete without that. Tongue1

I forgot bout the leeching thing being less effective however this is just going to be a side project when I'm bored seeing as I am still working on lvling my bucc (which is currently 153) so this is just a char I plan on playing once and a while when I'm bored...it'll be a long project but i'm not really in a rush...with that said does anyone have an answer to my previous question of how much hp an unwashed sair will have at 120?

It's a couple hundred more hp than other ranged. There's a formula somewhere but i think it's like 3.2~3.3k
