Does anyone ever actually buy the pills and pomegranate advertised in spam e-mails? I mean, when you're getting 3-5 adverts a week about extending the size of your member, it's gotta be tough to stand out, not to mention people irritated at seeing your advertisement are not likely to purchase your product...

I've even been getting TEXTS advertising these products lately. And I have no idea how I got on their mailing list. ;_;

I get those e-mails too, yahoo, gmail, hotmail, Aim, etc... It makes me made.

Haven't been spammed with those emails yet, but I can tell how you guys feel about it. =\

i got tons more of lose weight spams, where they show u a picture of an ugly fat woman next to a skinny pretty chick and claim that they are the same person.

The basic rule of things is that various segments of humanity can be gullible or stupid, at least in certain things, depending on the person. PhDs and MDs get scammed just like construction workers. And when all you have to do is send out tens of thousands of automated messages, and wait for the suckers to come in, it's profitable and cheap.

I love my spamblocker. Though way back when I got my primary account I did not know to keep my address off the internet, GMail's spamblocker is so thorough that I get over 3000 spam messages a month, but there are almost never any in my actual inbox.

I'm still utterly amazed that people buy into these things when they're receiving so many. Cost effective, yes, as it's next to free to do. But still...wow...

Somebody is bound to respond to one of those, and that's why they keep doing that. Even if it's 1 in 100,000, it's worth it if it gets any results.

I remember a friend of mine responded to a Nigerian scam email just asking "Do people actually respond to these?" and the guy replied "yes."
