I need you to describe about your country pleaseeeeee.

My family is going on a holiday to USA and we want to know what to do there like having fun and getting to see some nice sceneries!

I need first hand experiences (rather than internet crap adverts) so i decided to ask through southperry.

Please i really want to know whats interesting in your country.
We will be visiting Seattle, LA and possibly San Francisco.

Well, im from San Diego, so LA would be the same basically. uhm, weathers excellent, even around this time of year. Typical temp right now is about 70~80 degrees F. MAKE SURE TO VISIT THE BEACHES. its really beautiful, especially around sunset time. uhm, downfall would be traffic. make sure to try to avoid commuting from 5am-8am and 4pm-6pm.

shoppings great, if you want to go shopping, head to the downtown areas. While in LA, hit up Rosco's chicken and waffles. i've always wanted to go, and i'd like your opinion on it Also, head to Hollywood blvd. i've been there plenty of times. its a GREAT once in a lifetime experience! Plenty of attractions to see. Universal Studios is also a greaaaat place to check out! havent been there since i was young, but its very entertaining. Probably Six Flags or Knotts Berry Farm if you have time and money and wanna go on rollercoasters

I've been to San Fran once. its a great place to be. scenery is amazing! i was only there for a few hours, so cant say much on that.

And for cold weathers, i'm fine with it. I'm stuck with tropical climate for like 15 years and i'm sick of it. I need to go some where coldddddd.

70% is way too high. That's exaggerated.

I believe the latest polls for obesity rate yielded at something like 31%, but you have to realize that they count "obese" as anything 30 pounds over your weight index by height, so anybody who works out hard will be considered overweight. My father, for example, is 240 pounds, which for his height would put him at 70 pounds overweight, or obese, but he is not fat, he body builds. So the rates are a bit skewed for people that work out properly.

For truly obese people (not the one's who are just muscular and over their BMI for overweight) I'd guess it's at around 10%. At least in California.

Seattle eh? Lots of people will certainly tell you that it rains and rains and rains. I'd have to say that's true, although there are times when the weather gets nice.

Be sure to check out Pike Place Market. Lots of shops, various attractions, and so on, especially the gum wall. The Space Needle is pretty cool too, but imo not as interesting. It is associated with sky views of the city, and marvelous firework shows. Then there's the Pacific Science Center. I haven't been there in a while, but it's got all sorts of cool gadgets for you to screw around with.

Pacific Science centre seems nice, i'll try to go there if i have the time to visit all the places i want to go in 11 days.

There are specific clothing stores for people that are overweight. You can't miss them because they are always huge, and have really obvious names like "Big and Tall". Normal clothing stores sell normal size clothes, so brands like AE, Hollister, Gap, A&F, Old Navy, etc all have normal, not obese, size clothing.

And if you want cold you should go visit my buddies in Maine. Seattle is a summer breeze compared to the snow my friends are getting right now.

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles is gross. Don't go. Six Flags Magic Mountain is an awesome theme park, I live like 20 minutes from it. It is usually part of like the top 3 amusement parks in the USA, often times tying Cedar Point for the most number of rides in the USA. It also has unique roller-coasters such as X2 which is classified as "4d" for its use of fire and the harnesses swivel around. The fire is pretty lame though. As a tidbit of extra trivia, the first roller-coaster to have a a vertical loop was Revolution.

As for the actual city of LA, it sucks. It is just traffic. The cool cities are ones with sky-scraper jungles (i.e. NYC). California doesn't have real sky-scrapers because of the earthquakes we experience. If you're looking for fun in the USA, it isn't in the cities. Go into the country and do some outdoor stuff.

Nah, Ketchikan in Alaska tops that no problem :zzz: Apparently the #1 source of traffic accidents there is blamed on the sun.

There are these "Ride The Ducks" tours, that can be pretty fun. They're tours around Seattle, but it's in this Car-Boat thing from WWII, so it's on land and water. And they give you little duck-quackers :3. Science Center is fun, I went there multiple times every year up until I was about 13, and had a blast every time. The Space Needle is the biggest known attraction around, but it isn't honestly great at all. Expensive, and fairly boring. Plus, if it's a cloudy day, you're screwed. Pike Place Market is cool, definitely a must, including the gum wall, like Kajiti said. If you take a picture and point out which piece of gum is mine, I'll give you $100.00.
