Your most hated 4th job quest?
#41
There were some tricky points, but ultimately I liked all my job quests. Trickiest one was the Hero's Will quest - getting the 40 pieces of courage from Carta's arena was one annoyance, then I couldn't get the wristband to drop... someone else got it to drop for me. Rolleyes

whoever said they had zerk the first week of 4th job was a liar lol

The one where you need the mini pianus, it's hard being an NL and being in Scania.

Hmm they were all kinda equall... all with their ups and downs...

Genesis: LOTS of traveling and its tough getting a HTPQ party together when no one else is advancing with you ><;

Resurrection: The jump quest took me 2 tries, and getting those 50 firebomb flames without the Showa Secret Spa (wasn't released yet) is NOT fun.. espescially when you have to travel all they way to el nath just to take em out then...

Angel Ray: okay this was the easy one.

Infinity: Yay for me having a friend that didn't do his Stance Quest yet f3

Bahamut: getting level cap to 15 was HARD because I solo'd... then I upgraded it to 30 in about 2~3 hours spamming ultimates with an Ice Arch Mage friend at Red Wyverns :p

Hero's will: You need alot of Pianus Statues.... and those dam pieces just dont seem to drop as well as the brace from griffey...

when you're done with your Quests they all seem easy though.

Wani Wrote:Agreed, but change Hero to Dark Knight. Three and a half hours on 2x drop looking for the freaking Rush book. x_x

After that, it was simple. XD

Berserk quest was a bit of a pain though.

LOL and you think you had it bad, I spent 15 hours, some with friends looking for that book. Only to find out it had deflated from 30 to 8m in those 2 days >_>

I had no trouble with pretty much any of my 4th job quests; F/P archmages have the easiest quests Big Grin So I guess the awakening quest? I haven't even finished it yet.

Lets say that Elquines ("2nd round") was a bish - I had to run up and down Orbis Tower to talk to the NPC's, then had to make an extra round beacuse I forgot to read carefully the materials I need. -_-"

And the 4th job quest itself is a pain too. Didn't want to spend 10m, ended up spending the whole day on and off looking for Griffey and Manon to pick on.

Now its Hero's Will, whohoo.....7 more pieces, then the slow gathering of the needed materials.

Otherwise, the other F/P AM quests were pretty enjoyable and easy. ;D

Bowmaster:

Dragon Pulse: Had to do El Nath PQ. Lucky for me there were tons of people needing to do it at the time, and got it on the day 4th was released.

Hurricane: Another super easy quest. I bought 2x drop at the time, and only killed a few Kents to find the glove.

Findings Wrote:I hated the Phoenix quest. When I did it the bowwhack/MB DC glitch was still around. You have to hit eggs to complete the quest. I'm sure you can figure out how that went. And when you DC in the Cave of Trials you get sent back three maps, so I had to keep walking back over and over.

Phoenix: Strange, I never ever heard that happen to anybody before... Fighting the Phoenix itself was fun.

Concentrate: This quest I rather enjoyed. I found two Green Books over the course of one hour. And while collecting the Etc. drops from Maci's, I found the Rush book as well. Fighting the Balrogs was very fun in my opinion.

Hero's Will: Never did get around to it...

Bishop:

Genesis: It was hell... I was in such a rush to get it I did HTPQ without activating the Genesis quest lols and had to find another HTPQ...

Thomas Wrote:Resurrection: The jump quest took me 2 tries, and getting those 50 firebomb flames without the Showa Secret Spa (wasn't released yet) is NOT fun.. espescially when you have to travel all they way to el nath just to take em out then...

Resurrection: The Resurrection jump quest was rather hard. The fire bomb pieces were really easy (should have gotten them in NLC rather than Nath) and took me about 5-10minutes?

Angel Ray: Very easy

Infinity: It was an enjoyable PQ.... and easy with Genesis.

Bahamut: It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Too bad I think Bahamut is a worthless skill, and I'm actually going to max Holy Shield before Bahamut (keeping it at Level 10 for a while...).

Hero's Will: It wasn't particularly difficult... only a few Pianus Statues needed. The Mithril Plates was not something I enjoyed. It's annoying enough getting Mithril Plates over and over to go fight HT.

1. Genesis: hate you maple >=o forcing us to depend on others for the skill we been waitin 120 levels for (f5f5). why couldn't you make the damm root drop from thanatos or grims at the same rate as lycan drops hearts >=o f5f5

2. Angel Ray: 1 try got it <3

3. Bahu: o yeaaa baby~~ trying to get the hearts WITHOUT gen was a btch -___- luckily my frnd came to help me =D

4. Res: minus the traveling, easy quest~ Big Grin i had the map for the JQ, so it took like 5min to complete

5. Infinity: ElNath PQ~ easy as pie~ even tho i didnt add any pts to it =3

6. Hero Will: erm... didnt bother with it =3

All the shadower skills are so easy to get.

Assassinate: okay, just don't get hit... easy. I didn't die.

Smokescreen: I got a free smokescreen blueprint book thing from a friend. I had my friends kill pap for me. The only annoying part about this quest is the stuff you have to collect. It took me about 2 hours to get all the items.

Taunt: Luckily my friend just got to 4th job and took me to El Nath PQ.

I'm not sure what else there is, but that's probably because it was so easy to get that i don't remember what I had to do for it.

The only 4th job quest I haven't done is the Awakening skill quest.

My Girlfriend's BLIZZARD quest was the biggest pile of crap I ever seen. We did the 4th job quest and Ice Demon skill quest on friday nite which wasn't rly hard just the traveling was annoying. Then on saturday morning we did all first part of Blizzard, then she got to work on that day, so I stayed on her Char killing Lycanthropes looking for the Cold Heart and having fun with Chain Lightning, hoping to give her a surprise when she gets home Cool ; this was on 11am or so... and I kept killing those things during 8 hours (no 2x drop) 'till she got back home... I got around 273 nails on her etc inventory :f6:... but no Cold Heart of Wolf Rolleyes... then after dinner, she picked up on her AM and 5... little... minutes... later... she found the quest item... and told me "owh!! it wasn't hard at all... what were you doing all this time??" Tongue

....
.....
.......

I swear I insulted her 10 hours without stopping to breath... Mad

Well I did my F/P's quest and they were all relatively simple. Wasn't really that difficult to do just a bit of running around. I thought it was annoying at the time and then heard of some of the stuff other people had to do, so I stopped complaining about the boat rides. Haha.

My pirate is gonna get to 4th job soon. I'm kinda worried cause I have no idea about what quests I'm gonna have to do. If anyone has any information on this I'd like to see it.

The Genesis quest was atrocious for me. I did it in Yollande during the 2x/4x event. 4x, to be blunt, makes people into @ssholes, and when you're dealing with the top-tier, competitive players you just don't want to go there. My guildmates helped me do it in the end, but then they got me in their party and I realized they had helped me with the intention of making me their HS/Heal/Gen slave, where I felt so much like their b!tch that I stopped training and told them had I known, I would have refused their help.

A short while later, I was miffed over this matter and subsequent events in the guild, and bought a world transfer. I was in Khaini during the next server check.

Hero's Intuition? I haven't done that quest yet, but the rest of the quests for my job were extremely easy.

Undoubtedly Concentrate. That damn storybook is near impossible to find.

Was the drop rate decreased? I found mine with ease.. and actually found two within the hour. I remember dying while trying to loot my first one and my second one was given to a friend of mine.
