Hell, that game was easy, I beat it in 10-15 minutes. And world 7 is not THAT hard.

Ahh yea the sun, it pissed me alot when I first played the desert level.
I was like "wtp??" when it swooped at me.

I don't know if its just me, but I feel my gaming skills have declined as I got older. I try to play classic games I aced through as a kid, and get my ass handed to me. I'm thinking: "Oh, what the hell, I beat this as a kid?"

Could possibly be because I had more patience as a kid, but damn looking back at some of those games makes me depressed.

Original Castlevania comes to mind. The game is balls bustingly hard and I remember beating it as a kid, but I couldn't do it again for the life of me.

I dunno what you are speaking of..
I hit my peak about your guys age gaming wise- probably because I played the most then.
But yeah- Someday I'll go back and beat Mario: Lost Levels.

I agree and have said the same thing. I think it's because as kids we didn't pressure ourselves to do anything. We put way too much thought into what we do because it seems like the more natural thing to do.

Snes games... i try to challenge myself to the limit, but i still beat every single game...

Not a good example but, i can run through megaman x1-3 blindfolded, no armor, no weapons, no sub tanks, no heart tanks, etc :<

That was Super Mario Land, mister. On the Game Boy. And I loved that one... I sometimes play it from time to time now. It has its charm.
